Rational, critical thinking Americans know this was all planned in advance, and they knew may people would be murdered in the process.

This is the stupid logic that led to the disaster we implemented.

Now we are dealing with people who were scared by the fear mongering along with not allowed to see their doctor for care unless emergency. Then you add the kids. Especially kids who come from less means than us on Too Hot….

These idiots deserve jail time. Some for just ignorant negligence. Others for life and malice.

The crazy thing is you know these policies negatively affected your kids. And you have the means to adjust for that. But you flippantly continue to justify the generational damage caused to those without your means.

All incorrect. And yes that’s all I’m going to add.

Covid was nothing for most people.

That said…the same way we always dealt with viruses. If a school needed to shut down for a a few days or week. They shut down for that time and reopen. You don’t harm the rest of the school district. You don’t harm the rest of the state. You don’t harm the rest of the country.

This is basic logic. But propaganda scared people (unfortunately it appears you as well) into not realizing this. Schools have shut down in the past for the flu. You move on and add days or cancel days based on the requirements.

Trump was actually spot-on when he suggested that if people stopped testing that Covid would go away. The fake test was the only authenticator/differentiator of a ‘pandemic.’

You are correct that I have the means to overcome the negative effects the lockdown had on my kids. They have adjusted just fine. Know what would've been hard to overcome? Had I died.

JAMA estimates over 10.5 million US children lost a primary or secondary care giver due to COVID. As someone with comirbidities like asthma, had I gotten COVID before the vaccine, I was more susceptible to a severe case. How many more, like me, were spared getting COVID before the vaccine? How many more kids were spared from losing a care giver and suffering because of that?

What you advocated for absolutely would've caused more kids to lose a care giver. And more teacher deaths as well. Think that wouldn't have caused generational damage? Given the choice, I'm choosing the path that causes generational damage and more people live, versus generational damage and more deaths.

Parents did die. Too many from the effects of panic and despair.

Trying to follow that gibberish. One researcher emailed Fauci that the virus appears man-made and this is now proof that Fauci knew it was man-made? We can't even fathom the amount of information and conflicting opinions he was being given. The emails show a man working around the clock to disgest as much information and studies as possible. Is the scandal that same picture twice guy changed his position after talking to Fauci? Fauci would have had access to 1000x more information about COVID than same picture guy. Keep in my mind that today the entirety of our intelligence community isn't sure of the origins. The most likely explanation is that Fauci just explained the informative known to him at the time which was likely a lot more compelling than one man's research.

How we know it didn’t leak from a lab: the FBI said it did.

I despise the likes of Fauci. But I don’t believe the public should be allowed to cast its sins upon him. The public believed and obeyed. It went into hiding. Covered its faces and screeched for others to do the same. Snitched on one another. Pressures one another to get useless but risky pharmaceutical interventions. And blamed others for causing sickness and death.

Granted it's been a while since I was in elementary school but the overwhelming majority of my teachers would have been in the high risk category for severe COVID/death. What happens when they don't feel safe at school? What happens if God forbid any of them get seriously sick or die? You're being awfully cavalier with their health and well being after relentlessly throwing around accusations about other people causing deaths.

You would have had schools constantly shutting down for two weeks and then reopening only to shut down a few days later for another two weeks. Is there remote learning happening during that timeframe? Would any schools have bothered to invest in a remote learning process under your plan since they wouldn't be planning to be shut down? Would a school year of that have been better? Or maybe it would have been best to find an alternative to teach kids remotely without the continuous back and forth like we did.

Not everyone. And propaganda is a powerful tool. I have empathy for those who fell for it in the beginning and even through a good portion of this. I don’t for those who continue to fall for it now…

Pure nonsense. Just look at the rest of the world (specifically Europe).

I get these fools scared you. I have empathy for it in the beginning. But to stand up for them now? Glad you are in the minority!

The fact you know that kids without means were unnecessarily harmed and find excuses for it…speaks volumes!

All while you lived in your little protected hole.

By all accounts there are some successful homeschooling models so seems like it would be smart to have parallel or alternative programs ready for situations like these. Trying to hold traditional classes via zoom is pretty worthless.

Wait, wait, wait. You've been going on and on about generational damage and how evil these lockdowns were but your grand plan was "well we'll just shut down for a few days and reopen?" A plan that doesn't even hold up to 30 seconds of scrutiny? Classic.
