Getting back to the topic: I think I'll go with a 59% better outcome.

"In a recent study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, researchers wanted to better understand the connection between receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and the prevalence of major adverse cardiac events (MACEs), such as ischemic heart disease and stroke. The study analyzed data from the National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C) and included 1,934,294 patients between the ages of 18 and 90. The patients included in the study had contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus between March 1st, 2020 and February 1st, 2022. They had either been fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated, or not vaccinated at all, and were evaluated 180 days after the initial infection.

Cases of MACEs were observed in 12,733 patients who were unvaccinated, 160 patients who were partially vaccinated, and 1,055 patients who were fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated patients had a 59% decreased risk of experiencing MACEs following infection than those who were unvaccinated, according to a press release on the study (per Mount Sinai Health System). After infection, patients who were partially vaccinated also appeared to have a reduced risk of MACEs."

Just a reminder that the entire basis of pan-panic was a fraudulent test based on a computer model. One implication of this is that all vaccine efficacy studies are meaningless ...

The real question is, did they stop studying events at 28 days?!? Because everybody knows, after 28 days, they don't count!

But seriously, thanks for the link. Very informative.

Before 28 days. After 28 days. All meaningless since there is no virus such that it could cause myocarditis. So what’s causing the myocarditis ? And what’s causing staggering excess deaths ?

Agreed. Disagree with his opinion all you want. But there is no shame in a family business and running the financial side of his wife’s dental practice so she can focus on dentistry. My parents ran a mom and pop dress store. My dad had a masters degree and merchandised it. My mom ran the day to day sales. She didn’t finish college. It is called a family business

    Yes!

    This!

You will find the vast majority doctors are not pushing the shot. They are not requiring you to wear a mask at the doctors office.

They are treating each individual patient for their individual health needs. Not just recommending a blanket treatment and ignoring the patients health history.

    Well said!

The article actually says almost all cases of myocarditis occurs within 7 days of infection.

There is research looking at the immune system getting recharged when someone who had a prior case of covid is vaccinated. Evidently the spike protein is found in numerous tissues including brain, heart, kidney and liver.
Question is does the vaccination cause the boys to mount an immune response to these remnant bits of spike protein thus cause the inflammatory response seen with things like myocarditis, MI and stroke.

My wife had it twice, nobody in family got it from her either time, 4 of us in the house definitely didn't wear masks.

I had Covid once, months after my wife got it the first time. My wife had it twice, kids never got it.

No, it doesn't. This opinion was destroyed this morning on the radio by people who actually study these things for a living.

There is literally ZERO proof that this was an engineered virus, naturally occurring virus that escaped form a lab or anything even remotely close to it.

Nothing has changed because 2 know-nothings at a right-wing hack rag wrote an opinion.

I don’t get the hang up with this. What difference does it make? Let’s pretend we can prove beyond a doubt that it came from a lab. And? What does that change and how?

My wife and I caught dirty air filter last November. Cough and congestion for a few days. I don’t know whether I gave her dirty air filter or whether she gave me dirty air filter.

Don’t you have to have a virus first before you postulate that it leaked from a lab ?

It is just another in a really long line of BS things that Republicans and their anti-vaxx stooges want to gin up anti-Asian hate with. Trying to convince the world that the "Evil Chinese" were creating Franken-viruses meant to be targeted at the west.

They know that most people cannot understand, or simply will not take the time to read the Kristian Anderson paper on the origins of SARS-CoV-2. Not that 1 paper by 1 person/group is the be all, end all either, but it is a fantastic foundation for additional learning. Heaven forbid we ask the public to actually go out and learn things.

LOL. This is a report from the Biden Dept of Energy saying this was the most likely way covid started and you are blaming this on "2 know-nothings at a right wing hack rag"? Try decaf bud.

As a person who followed everything I could about what our government told us concerning covid, I bought in to all their info hook line and sinker. (by the way, my wife and I are registered democrats and voted that way)
My wife got covid in July 2020 and I got it in August 2020. All while wearing masks and not going out around groups of people. We both were vaccinated as soon as the vaccines became available. My wife got covid again this past August 2022. Her case was worse then before but I did not get it this round. My younger brother died from it in August 2021, while at Shands in Gainsville. He was not vaccinated.
Our son, (used to be a hard core democrat) who has worked in medical data for 20 years, told us in the first few months that everything he was looking at was making the case for "human engineered" and not animal cross over. Over the course of the last few years he has become pretty adamant that this came from a lab.
Now the info coming out is that it is more than likely from a lab, not human crossover.
Energy Department Joins FBI In Supporting COVID-19 Lab Leak Theory: Report
So in a few prier posts it is questioned "why does it matter"?
This dumbfounds me as I can't imagine why it would not matter. Very big difference in our government pushing the idea that humans had no part and convincing us that it crossed over from an animal. If humans did it one time, they will do it again.
In my mind, due to that alone, our government just can't be trusted---
Both parties have failed our country in my mind.
I have also never understood why it is "wrong" to question any info we are fed, seems to me if we are following the science, as we get more information and the science changes due to that new information, then we need to change our minds as well. If we are really following the science.

So this report from the DOE makes you not trust the government anymore? Why? Because you believe it?

And I still fail to see how it really matters. Murphy’s law. We always knew this was a possibility right?

All correct. Some people won't stop playing politics ever. That's why this is an issue. Some people won't call out all the things our govt did wrong about covid. Look at the mask data. ALL RCT's show no improved outcomes by wearing masks, yet a lot of posters on this site ignore the data smacking them in the face. And let's not even discuss the lockdowns and school closures. Next level stupid and pure panic moves.

Yeah, let's not find out why something that killed millions of people was manmade or naturally occurring. Brilliant!
