    Cute.

Reality is you will eventually realize how wrong you have been. We definitely have a large group here that is part of the current minority that actually believe people should still take these shots.

Obviously you're not following the data. If you want to support this poster, be my guest, but we botched this thread. It's one of the worst tragedies in GC history, but some will still listen to the "mods." I'm just happy to keep my children away from it.

Not on this message board though.
Its not like people are reading this board and going. Hey that one dude says viruses are fake, I wont ever take a precaution again! And that Q guy doesnt like the shot so I wont get it!

This is a message board. Most.. if not all... of our opinions are already solidified. We arent changing many minds here.

Huh? I closed this thread almost 2 years ago, but everyone complained and we reopened it.

    Am I missing a joke?

Not a victim of bullying at all here.

The funnies are used against those I perceive as bullies. Those that gave no regard to natural immunity and not taking the shot. Those who gave no regard to the fact young healthy people are at little to no risk and should not be mandated to take a shot to keep their job.

I at the beginning said high risk groups should take the shot. It’s on this thread. Today my opinion is no one should take it based on where we are along with science/medicine.

But the funnies are meant to stand for the people who had legitimate concern about taking a new drug that was brought to emergency use in less than a year when most vaccines take 4-15 years before approval. Thank Trump for allowing corners to be cut in that regard.

I understand you might still disagree with they “why” for the funnies. But figured I would provide an explanation.

There are good reasons why the COVID vaccine had rushed approval. This article lays it all out very well. First, 99% of the ingredients used in the mRNA vaccine are identical to other vaccines already in use. The only difference is the mRNA stand used. From prior trials, we knew what effects, if any, the inert ingredients of the vaccine would have.

This alone cut out a lot of time off approval. And we'll see future vaccines using this technology approved faster than before because of this fact. But that's not the only reason the COVID vaccine got quick approval.

All vaccines had three phase trials, which is standard. Some, but not all, have four. Usually, these trials happen in order, over time, as it's not always easy to find volunteers. There's usually a delay between phases, as well as a delay until the FDA can properly assess the data. But the COVID vaccine became #1 priority for all. Not to mention, volunteers to test the vaccine were easy to find.

Bottom line, no corners were cut in approving the COVID vaccine. There was no need for chemical compound testing. That was already complete. There was also no wait to find volunteers for the three phase trials. And last, COVID vaccine did jump in front of the line when it comes to approval.

The vaccine also now has hundred of millions who have taken it. And plenty of data that shows it is safe and effective at preventing severe outcomes.

Then why the funnies on the posts that contain factual information backed up by data?

not on this board?! Most, sure, but I don’t think a blanket statement can be made that no one might take the bad info posted here and act on it. Or more likely, someone see bad info here regarding something they are already on the fence on.

Will you be admitting you were wrong on masking for the last 3 years? Just wondering.
