The vaccine would have been produced with or without Trump, and the first vaccine available, Pfizer, didn't take a dime of Operation Warp Speed money until after it was approved for emergency use. The money Pfizer took wasn't for research, but distribution of the vaccine.

And again, the vaccine is about reducing the risk. This study published in Nov, 2022, shows the impact of vaccinations for kids ages 5-11. From the study:

Assuming that a new variant would not emerge, all-age COVID-19 outcomes were projected to decrease nationally through mid-March 2022. In this setting, vaccination of children 5–11 years old was associated with reductions in projections for all-age cumulative cases (7.2%, mean incidence ratio [IR] 0.928, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.880–0.977), hospitalizations (8.7%, mean IR 0.913, 95% CI 0.834–0.992), and deaths (9.2%, mean IR 0.908, 95% CI 0.797–1.020) compared with scenarios without childhood vaccination.
Even if hospitalization and death numbers from COVID for kids is low, what's the negative if doing something that lowers the risk even further? And why wouldn't we want to lower the risk to as close to zero as possible? The small risk of a mild myocarditis case? I'll take that risk with the vaccine, especially when the risk of myocarditis is higher with infection, and infection cases run a higher risk of MIS-C, which isn't mild. In contrast, risk of MIS-C from the vaccine is extremely low.

The data speaks, again. Getting vaccinated lowers your risk of complications from COVID. And it lowers it much more than any slight risk increase from the vaccine.

We have never had 200 deaths per day for the whole year due to seasonal flu. That would be 73k per year. Highest that I could find is 52k in 17-18. Average is a little short of 100 per day for the year. So if you shorten that down, you get nowhere near 500 per day even in a relatively short flu season assumption.

500 people a day aren't dying from covid. That's the issue. Numbers are inflated. When all you have is garbage data, you have nothing.

52000/100 days = 520 per day. So at this point we are arguing about frequency and the applicable flu season days denominator.

And also utilizing the record as the normal level. But flu deaths occur in a lot more than 100 days.

CNN's Dr Wenn is saying just that now.
She is getting a lot of questions from their anchors.

Thats the point. The CDC recently estimated 80k deaths ina year from the flu. They revised that data later. This will be the same thing. What we are seeing now is much less Covid caused then deaths we saw early on. (Her words not m8ne)

Key scientist sounds alarm: Withdraw COVID shots 'immediately' (wnd.com)

A key scientist in the United Kingdom, Dr. Richard Ennos, has written a column at Summit.News calling for the COVID-19 shots to be withdrawn "immediately."

Ennos, a retired professor of Evolutionary Biology at Edinburgh University, has analyzed his nation's "Yellow Card" adverse event reporting system for vaccinations, and found there are "unequivocal” signals about reactions to the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines that affect the blood, the heart and female reproductive organs.

He noted, "All three vaccines rely on novel technology that has never before been used in humans. At the time of their introduction, they lacked any long-term safety data, and therefore required Conditional Marketing Authorisation from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). To monitor the safety of the three vaccines the MHRA established the COVID-19 vaccine Yellow Card reporting scheme (C-19VYC). This collates standardised reports of suspected adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccines that can be analysed to detect safety signals and potentially trigger withdrawal of the vaccines."

"The mRNA COVID-19 vaccines do not appear to be safe. Glaring safety signals are apparent indicating harm to the lymph system, the heart and to female reproduction. There can be no question that the mRNA vaccines should be withdrawn with immediate effect."

How ivermectin works against parasites and viruses does not mean it was, or is an effective drug against COVID. This study, and this study both show ivermectin to be ineffective against COVID. While early, in vitro studies showed promise, actual, human trials of ivermectin did not show any effectiveness. And it was theorized that in order for ivermectin to be effective in humans, the dosage would have to be so high as to be dangerous, if not deadly to the person.

I think what he is saying if the flu season was an entire year like covid is the annual rate would be similar.

In the example you give that was 52k over a 4-5 month period.
