Any practitioner of good medicine will recommend the booster to older patients.

No. The data has shown natural immunity is superior. It shows most are are little to no risk from the disease. It shows there are definite safety signals and now we are observing what could be more serious safety signals.

These shots are completely unnecessary at this point based on the data. But if you want to take one. Go for it. You especially don’t need one considering you just had Covid. Which by the way. Glad you are feeling better!

Sorry, the data shows that the vaccinations help prevent hospitalizations and deaths, especially amongst older people. Natural immunity wears off. The data shows that people who got the booster were less likely to have severe covid that requires hospitalization and less likely to die from covid.

Believe what you wish. The data showed natural immunity was superior against delta. It showed omicron did not care about either. You just had the most recent version and are as protected as anyone. But take the unnecessary risk if you desire.

No, See post #40085 for what the data shows. Natural immunity wears off. Many people have had covid more than once. The data shows getting the booster helps prevent more serious disease, hospitalizations and death, especially for older people.

    LOL!

When do the shots stop wearing off? How many boosters do you need?

While I don't disagree with the conclusions. Those charts are messed up.

That is not how log charts work/look. If that were done correctly, the 2.0 should have been 10, and the 3.0 should have been 100.

Shots wear off too. No one is saying they're perfect. But they help. See post #40085.

The only thing that doesn’t wear off is the only thing that drove pan-panic and is still keeping panic alive: the test.

But it’s WAY past time to stop blaming the authorities. Americans cannot stop testing.

Cough, congestion, fever, body aches, etc., manifestations mistakenly attributed to viruses, are nothing more than normal and necessary eliminative processes.

No shot and indeed no medication will prevent them. And why would you want to ?

    From the article:
Personally, I guess I have the best of both worlds. I'm now recovered from my recent bout of Covid and was fully vaxxed and boosted prior to the infection. Although the vax didn't prevent the infection it may be have been a factor in the relatively mild albeit still somewhat unpleasant symptoms that I experienced.
