Easily debunked crap. Many of the 1,500 deaths were attributed to other causes, life cancer. And many weren't pro athletes, unless there are pros competing in their 70s and 80s most people don't know about.

    Do better.

You wouldn't need any increase in cancer to cause the numbers to be false. The baseline was a study of sudden cardiac death, which the authors of that study stated was likely underestimated, and then comparing it to a blog list of deaths, many of which had nothing to do with sudden cardiac deaths, including cancer deaths. So the same number of cancer deaths or even fewer cancer deaths would show up as an increase in sudden cardiac deaths in that research design.

That is really basic research knowledge. I would think critical thinking would require the acquisition of such basic knowledge. Because without it, you aren't engaging in true critical thinking. You are just stating things that agree with an opinion uncritically.

Sure, it would be. What you posted isn't evidence of that.

Articles like this are why it’s hard to take any of these “died suddenly” claims seriously. He’s mentioned numerous times in the article as “pro football player” and “professional athlete”. The guy retired in 2014! I didn’t see it anywhere in the article that “athlete” has not been his profession in 7 years. Most lineman’s health goes to shit when they stop the fitness regimen of a pro athlete considering they still weighed 300+ pounds while training for a living. While passing at 38 is tragic and sad, let’s have a realistic representation if you want a real conversation.

Lol, really. So anytime they talk about Barack Obama they always address him as president even though he isn't , never saw you complain about that
So what I hear you saying is that anyone who
passed away with pre-existing conditions, elderly and overweight It wasn't because of covid or the vaccine
When you want to have a real conversation let us know

Really? That’s what you get from my post? Yes, once a football player always a football player, I’ll give you that. His playing career is only relevant in this instance to paint a picture of a physically fit, top of his game, professional athlete that couldn’t possibly just “suddenly die”. The reality is, he hasn’t played professionally in 7 years. He may or may not still train at the same level, the vaccine may or may not have contributed. The article is clearly trying to lead us down a particular path with little actual information.

I’m sure there are deaths related to the vaccine. Failing to acknowledge that he hasn’t actually been a pro athlete in 7 years but continually calling him a pro athlete is an attempt to pad that number. It’s no different than the BS you called from all the motor cycle accidents labeled Covid deaths to pad those numbers.

You know the safety signal is there for myocarditis (inflammation of the heart) and can cause an enlarged heart.

2,000% increase ? In other news: from Feb 2021 to March 2022 Millennials suffered 60,000 excess deaths. That’s more in 12 months than Vietnam in 12 years ...

I already explained to you the flaw in the research design. You can't compare two different data sets, especially when one of the datasets is flawed in a manner to grossly exaggerate the deaths claimed (i.e., by having deaths due to things like cancer, which clearly wasn't caused by the vaccine). Do you not have the capability of understanding such a ridiculously simple flaw in a research design or address it at all?

If you want people to take you seriously, you have to at least try to be able to discuss research. That would include understanding how to set up research designs correctly to actually test hypotheses. If you can not at least make that pretty minimal threshold, why shouldn't people ignore you?

The fact we are not throwing a lot of money to study the obvious safety signal that is a known problem. Especially in younger people. Is criminal.

Plenty of money to study things like myocarditis. And multiple studies looking at myocarditis after getting vaccinated. And those studies show a mild increase in cases resulting in always mild cases.

And while a single person dying is tragic, the reason we are seeing increased deaths today is the same reason we saw 2 years ago. COVID. Currently a 7 day average of over 500 people a day. Makes COVID still the 3rd leading cause of death; and a cause of death that didn't exist 4 years ago.

What we aren't seeing? Excess deaths in any one category that isn't COVID. Athletes having a cardiac issue on the field? Occurring today at around the same pace it did pre-COVID. So why waste money studying it?

There have been multiple RCTs and observational studies looking at short-term safety and multiple studies are on-going examining long-term safety. Just because you haven't read them, doesn't mean they don't exist. In fact, there are enough that there has been a Meta-Analysis of these studies.

Dizzying increase in sudden cancer deaths among athletes ? What are all these athletes collapsing of ?
