I find it interesting that the majority of countries on that list fall short of your 10-20% claim.

Yeah, that huge spike happened before vaccines because of vaccines. It must have been because time isn't linear or something. Also, based on the data you posted, another country that has fallen short of your claim on excess mortality this year.

In bizarro world all the prevaccine deaths happened because of covid panic (not covid itself).

This group has a hard time focusing. There are multiple reasons for three years of excess deaths. Early on it was the effects of panic and despair. Then there was a clear correlation between vaccine rollout and excess deaths. If vaccines were meant to reduce deaths, why did they go up ?

“This difference was muted in the 10 states with highest vaccination coverage; remaining gaps may be explained by greater vaccination uptake in peer countries, better vaccination targeting to older age groups, and differences in health and social infrastructure.”

Wherein better vaccinated peer countries showed higher excess deaths than lesser vaccinated countries.

Better vaccinated peer countries generally show fewer excess deaths than lesser vaccinated countries.

What’s killing all these Republicans since there are no viruses ?

Pay walled. That lady is a right-wing covid anti-vaxxer. The subtitle says:

"The virus appears to be evolving in ways that evade immunity."

Which is what viruses have always done.

Discussion: since there are no viruses, what has caused over a million excess deaths since 2020 ? Corollary: does it have anything to due with the industry that’s supposed to keep us well ?

    From the “opinion” article

Public-health experts are sounding the alarm about a new Omicron variant dubbed XBB that is rapidly spreading across the Northeast U.S. Some studies suggest it is as differentfrom the original Covid strain from Wuhan as the 2003 SARS virus. Should Americans be worried?

It isn’t clear that XBB is any more lethal than other variants, but its mutations enable it to evade antibodies from prior infection and vaccines as well as existing monoclonal antibody treatments. Growing evidence also suggests that repeated vaccinations may make people more susceptible to XBB and could be fueling the virus’s rapid evolution.

Fwiw I can’t say one way or the other if the opinion has merit. Just putting it out there.
