They had to move at the speed of science, and at that time, it was worth every risk.

I’m not sure of your point.

As for vaccinations, I’ve got all the vacs in the belief I have nothing to lose. Though at 78 I’ve no underlying conditions and am healthy, I figured two things: I’ve nothing to lose, and perhaps I don’t infect a fellow human. Thus, I’ve never quite understood the anti-vaxers.

I’ve never been to “To Hot For Swamp Gas”, until recently. Been here since 2007. Should have done a search, admittedly

The main point is these vaccines were forced on people, some who lost their livelihoods, under the false premise of preventing transmission.

Seems like the anti-vaxxers dying meme has shifted in a big way.

I think we’re finding out the long term risks of hammering an aging and already unhealthy population with extreme terror.

I do agree to an extent.

But, Is JJ Wyatt an unhealthy person?
That 14th yr old girl was unhealthy?

What about this 8 year old?
8-year-old dies after collapsing on soccer field

i also just had a healthy 48 yr old friend, who had a stroke, tell me that the first question out of their mouths was “Did you get the vaccine”. True story. This was after I posted the JJ Wyatt story above.

I have no issues with those who got the shot. To each their own. Hell, my father got it, and now he’s pissed, because of the lie. He seems to be doing well, which may prove your point, to an extent. Maybe some do have existing health conditions, not yet diagnosed.

the Covid vaccines never provided 100% protection from infection. Numerous 'break through' Covid infections occurred. Those vaccinated and exposed that did not suffer a Covid infection, did not transmit the infection to others reducing transmission.
It is reported both the lockdown and the vaccinations perhaps saved 500,000-1 million lives. Yes, a small percentage of those vaccinated died. A much larger percentage of the unvaccinated died form Covid symptoms. The vaccine was rushed to market to help reduce sickness and death. as I understand it.

That's really not intelligent. There is no such thing as the speed of science. They lied right to your face that it could stop transmission without testing that it could stop transmission. That is as non-science as it gets and the risk has proven to be dire for many. After all we have learned the past 2 years, they are still pushing boosters on children. They are evil.
