That’s interesting and unexpected. I’m not clear of the time interval between the shot and measured infection and hospitalization rates.

 

And since nobody dies getting the flu shot, might as well get a monthly one instead of the covid vaccine

Your rant is cute. The data is already there. Eventually you will acknowledge it. Until then…boost away. Delta did not care. Omicron did not care. BA2 don’t care. The next variant won’t care.

The good news is the disease is less severe now (attacking more upper respiratory) and we know more on how to deal with it.

Now one day we might start actually trying to put a shot out there like the flu shot to best target the variant of concern.

Big Pharma thanks you. That said…I would recommend the flu shot to high risk groups if their risk tolerance met the threshold to get it. The Covid shot at this point makes no sense right now imo. It is unfortunate they were able to develop a drug in 9 months for the spike protein of alpha and a year and a half later can’t get out the drug for the omicron variant which actually might provide some short term efficacy for the current situation since BA2 appears to be similar to omicron. Shoot…get the BA2 spike protein out there.

 

That is right. The virus doesn’t care. It attacks the body and either the immune system is ready or not. And the science that you ignore shows that it is the unvaxxed getting sicker and in greeted numbers and spreading the virus to the vaxxed. I twice posted the Canadian study in response to the drivel you keep repeating and you ignored it twice. Reality isn’t less real because you ignore it. And delusions do not become real because you keep repeating them. And I am sure you feel good about spreading disinformation, because that is who you are. Just to be clear: you post disinformation.

 

You can find studies to fit your narrative. You have to look at the big picture and what is happening. You have to look at studies. Determine if they were run well or not. Many studies are nothing more than garbage. For both sides.

The posters you argue with have been saying the same thing for 2 years, and for the most part only participate in this thread in this forum and on this board. Obviously this Covid disinformation stuff is a big part of their identity, not politics in general nor Gator sports.

So all you (and others) are doing here is allowing these posters to continue to engage in their passion and purpose, Covid disinformation. You are giving them the oxygen they desire. I just don’t know what you all are trying to accomplish.

 

I've arrived at the same conclusion as you. This will be the second poster I've ever put on ignore. Actually the other appeared on this forum from another site where he earned the same consternations for similar misinformation , outright falsification, and finally lost a ban bet that, true to form.... he welched on. I left that board then, and when he showed up here, I placed him on ignore. Welching on a bet is the same as lying.

 

i have 4 or 5 on the ignore list, solely because of this Covid misinformation issue. A while back I was no better and thought that by being clever I could prove a point, but there is no point in debating “I CAN’T HEAR YOU I CAN’T HEAR YOU!!!”

Again, you are misrepresenting the English raw numbers. It is circular with you; there is no point in explaining this to you again. The age controlled numbers show the efficacy of the vaccines there. Lower death totals by vax status across age groups. And, gain, you ignore the proportion of the country that is vaxed. And the vaccines are not even the same vaccines as here. Either is it deliberate or you are not capable of comprehension. Either way, it is a complete waste of time to explain it to you again. Maybe some other posters will dredge up their old posts and re-post them for you to ignore again. What is despicable is that people listen to garbage like this and get sick for doing so. On Top if that, They also use Astra Zeneca in England. Which we don’t use here. And there is a wide body of US based evidence that relates to the vaccines used here you just skip over and ignore.

 

Interesting it is the hard data that is the problem. And then the excuse of which vaccine is the problem. I think my doctor was on to something in Sept 2021 when he said he only had confidence in Moderna at that point. I am comfortable in assuming he likely has lost confidence in Moderna as well. But you keep boosting for that alpha variant.

 

The problem is that their disinformation is killing people, so it needs to be countered at every possible opportunity.
