Mandating a kid be vaccinated for Covid to enter a business is the antithesis of science. But hey…this is why and how so much damage has been done by these authoritarians who ignore science.

Are all these vaccines the antithesis of science too? They were mandated for preschoolers and elementary school kids. 99% of kids got these jabs. I guess, when I was a kid, Dwight Einsenhower was an authoritarian.

I knew a kid in elementary school that had polio. Thank God all these vaccines were mandated.

OK. You believe personal choice should take precedence over public health. How about this.

Those who decline to be vaccinated must sign an agreement that, if they get Covid and require medical treatment, they will accept "back of the line" priority before they get a hospital bed. That way, they, and not others, suffer the consequences of their decision, if the hospitals are overwhelmed.

It's so hypocritical that those who refuse to get vaccinated because they don't trust the doctors and scientists who advised them to get vaccinated, but will readily accept treatments devised by those doctors and scientists when they get seriously ill with Covid.

Well, if the so called covid vaccination works as well as you and others falsely claim, this shouldn't ever be an issue for the vaccinated. Or you are admitting it's really not that effective.

You can now order another round of free Covid tests kits. This time they will send you 2 kits (8 tests).

This has been explained over and over again.

Yes, you can get Covid if you've been vaccinated. (No vaccine is 100% effective.) But you're far less likely to be hospitalized or die if you're vaccinated. Screenshot_20220201-112347_Facebook.jpg

For this reason, it's the unvaccinated people that were overwhelming the hospitals.

There are exemptions for these vaccines. And they have long track records. And they actually work.

It is extremely rare. Do you believe the jab stops a kid from getting Covid and therefore potentially long Covid?

This is such an obtuse take.

How about this…every person overweight has to accept “back of the line” priority since they refuse to take the steps to remove themselves from the high risk groups that actually end up in the hospital.

I would never suggest a ridiculous hypothetical like you did. But an overweight vaccinated person is at more risk than a healthy unvaccinated person.

And thankfully your hypothetical is not an issue.

We'll need a link to verify: "But an overweight vaccinated person is at more risk than a healthy unvaccinated person." But only because poster has a history of creativity. Iron y is strong since this quote immediately followed poster saying "I would never suggest a ridiculous hypothetical like you did." Link please. LOL

The Covid vaccines work very well in reducing serious illness, hospitalizations and deaths for all age groups. They also help reduce transmission. Keep in mind that a major reason that children are vaccinated is to reduce transmission to vulnerable classmates, teachers, school staff, bus drivers, siblings, parents, grandmas, grandpas, aunts and uncles.

Why do you ignore the scientific data presented to you over and over again? Despite all the scientific evidence, you keep falsely claiming that the vaccines "don't work". That is BS!

The data shows the vast vast vast majority who end up in the hospital or end up dying vaccinated or unvaccinated have multiple comorbidities. Weight being a known major one. We know the disease is low risk to the healthy. Especially young.

When there is no real risk…there is no real need. Especially now that we are dealing with less severe variants that are proving the drugs designed for the ancestral variant do not work well anymore. Now some have a low risk tolerance and feel they need drugs in just about all situations. There is nothing wrong with that. But forcing people to take drugs they don’t need is the antithesis of science and public health policy.

It is not hard. The cdc will tell you this. There are studies. Google is your friend. Here is the cdc to give you a start...

    "Overview
Based on the current evidence, a person with any of the conditions listed below is more likely to get very sick from COVID-19. This means that a person with one or more of these conditions..."

People with Certain Medical Conditions | CDC

Why do some of you even question this known fact? Do you really believe this disease is dangerous to young healthy people after more than 2 years of this terrible virus based on the data?

Your claim was that people with those conditions (not sure if you mean all or just some as there are lots listed) that are vaccinated are at a higher risk than a healthy person who is unvaccinated.

Where in the link you posted does it say that? (Hint - it doesn't) So can you provide a link that supports your claim or are you just going to keep spouting it as fact without providing support?

Some folks say that's the wrong thing to do but after two years of the same debunked arguments over and over again, it's become a nuisance to my mental well being. If there was an ounce of contrition or humility, it'd be different.

I wish more would take the air out of the room for him.
