What is it that you think I am ignoring? That because of technology advancements we had the full genome in 17 days from a lab in Korea? With that information, Pfizer-BioNTech, with no money from anyone, was able to create a messenger RNA strand that would illicit an immune response against the Spike Protein in less than 6 months? Well, guess what, Janssen was able to do the same thing with Ebola, using their AD.26 Adenovirus platform (shockingly, the same one that they used for the COVID vaccine) in 2020.

How does any of this relate to the study proposals, review, funding and carryout which you seem to be consistently trying to mix the conversations about, simply because you cannot admit how wrong you are and how big of a deal you are trying to make out of absolutely nothing.

Yeah. This is pretty much the case. Ignore. Engage with facts... or move on.

Or, you could take your own advice & take off if you don't like it rather than the lame ass school marmin'.

    LOL…

no you should mind yours. As one who did not fight against coercing people to take drugs they did not need or want.

But carry on. It is cute you think I am living my life all about Covid. One day you will realize I am just working to make sure we never see the worst public health policies we have seen in our lifetime happen again.

    Booster up my friend. o_O:confused::):D:ninja3:

We should have done the focused protection for the high risk groups. As I said then. We destroyed the ability to have control groups. We destroyed public trust by not recognizing natural immunity. And reality is…these things worked very poorly outside of a small therapeutic help in some cases. Possibly an okay therapeutic help for alpha. But alpha was pretty much gone by the time we had a good portion of the population “vaccinated”. Unfortunately we will never have a good understanding of how well these drugs worked because we just started shoving them out. But seeing how many got Covid after taking these drugs Delta on…they did not work well.

I would have advised my parents take the drugs if they had not gotten Covid (presumably the alpha variant). It did not take me to convince them they did not want to take the drugs. It was the ignoring of natural immunity and science that convinced them they were just fine. They are just fine over 65 unvaccinated. Seeing their kids without fear. So sad that many missed so much out of unnecessary fear.

Not whining. Just making sure we don’t let the disaster we just saw in public health happen again. Booster away if you wish…

The implementation of this has been a massive net negative. Vaccine hesitancy is likely going to become a huge problem. All so we could jab as many people as possible instead of actually using science to roll this thing out. Then you add all the other public health policy disasters of this pandemic and we need to make sure it never happens again.

If there were another global pandemic with a novel virus it would play out exactly the same way it did this time. Should this happen again, your desire for everyone to behave selfishly as you did and simply pretend the virus doesn’t exist is pure fantasy and would never happen.

    But keep whining my friend.

It very well might play out the same way. Propaganda is a powerful tool and we have authoritarians in the world. Wrong people will absolutely try to inflict the damage they did this time again…

No, you posted it because you thought it suggested what you wanted it to. When confronted with facts from the source you provided, you went all . . . (again)

You are the one inflicting the damage. Just look at the morality rates by vaccination status. Unvaccinated die at a higher rate than vaccinated, who die at a higher rate than vaxxed and boosted. All age groups.

Here are the WA state numbers again. Download the hospitalization and death numbers by vaccination status and it shows unvaxxed are over 3X more likely to be hospitalized, and 4X likely to die. Download the child COVID report and it shows over 5,200 cases, over 40 hospitalized, and sadly, 16 deaths.

Nonsense. We know how to deal with the pandemic. Unfortunately places like Washington have inflicted far more long term unnecessary damage. Glad I don’t live there!!!

The state of Washington had 1680 deaths per million. The national average was 3101. I think we just found our gold standard. Could have saved half a million Americans if we had done what they did across the country.

There is far more to the big picture than direct deaths “with” Covid. From when certain variants hit certain regions to the bigger mental/psychological damage and destruction of livelihoods for people.

Every death. “With” Covid. From Covid. From Cancer. From a car wreck. From a Heart Attack. Etc etc etc is terrible.

This was a virus. And we as a country handled it terribly. Pub and Dem for that matter. It was politicized from day 1. Thankfully our Governor led based on the data and big picture. Not perfectly. But certainly the Gold Standard!

You keep saying Pfizer didn’t take any money from the US govt. They didn’t take any before hand but they sure did when they fast tracked their drug thru fda trials. Oh wait, you said nothing moves fast in that space…

You keep saying DeSantis did a great job, but never providing any data to back that up. When we look at the data, we find that DeSantis was pretty average. What are you basing your declaration that DeSantis is the Gold Standard on?
