It started to go away with the diminishment of free pay to sit home. Amazing cure!

    Covid has been over.

It is thankfully less severe at this point and hopefully continues to be.

The unfortunate thing is we now get to deal with the consequences of how terrible it was handled. Free money to not work has inflation at at ridiculous spot. Coerced injections of a drug many dis not need is going to lead to fewer shots for drugs with legitimate track records that work. Mental illness from lockdowns and perpetuated mandates like the worthless masks are going to be with us for a generation. Maybe two.

The last member of Newark’s Department of Public Safety to die from Covid was Richard T. McKnight, a 20-year employee who processed detainees. He was not vaccinated, said Mr. O’Hara, who spoke at the funeral.

Days after Mr. McKnight’s death in August, his wife, who was sick with Covid, also died, Mr. O’Hara said.

“Their 9-year-old daughter is left with no parents,” he said.

    Just awful.

I read this yesterday. If he wants to go get vaccinated now. By all means. The data is clear. Covid is over. If you are young. Healthy. It is not that dangerous. Of course we will have pockets of hysterical reactions and there will be waves of cases based on new variants. But if things continue as they have been the variants will continue to be less severe hopefully. Now we have to deal with the fallout from the damage done by leaders and public health officials.

Data showing deaths for those vaccinated vs unvaccinated. The vaccines clearly work in reducing hospitalizations and deaths.

"If you are young. Healthy. It is not that dangerous." Generalizations like this have resulted in many unnecessary deaths among people who thought they didn't need to get vaccinated. In the article I shared, a presumably healthy Sergeant nearly died from Covid because he hadn't gotten vaccinated. Someone else just posted another example of an unvaccinated husband and wife who died, leaving a young daughter without her parents.

That said, Omicron is clearly less lethal than Delta and Covid deaths have dropped considerably. Hopefully, we won't have to deal with a more lethal variant in the future.

Look how the science... err... the DEFINITIONS in medical science have changed recently to fit these CDC clowns' NARRATIVE about the clot-shot.

Oh the horror: advancements in medical science. Run for the hills. You don't mean they actually changed some words. LOL

The data tells us the young and healthy are at low risk.

Now if your risk tolerance is low…do what you need to do. This disease has a huge gradient in who is at risk. And we know the groups that are.

They can’t. The pride is too great.

We have moved on long ago. I just shake my head at it now.

Show me where I’ve blasted Dems?

I’ve been vaccinated and had a booster. I believe they protect those that get the virus by reducing the effects of the virus.

I merely stated that Herman Cain wasn’t a hypocrite. No more and no less.

Herman Cain died from the virus or it causing other medical issues. And if he were to survive and have continuing issues with his heath from contacting the virus may have become one of the many who lived to say they were wrong for not supporting it.

    Let’s not overstate peoples comments.

    I agree with this.

The data also tells us that you are FAR LESS likely to be hospitalized and die from Covid if you've taken a very safe and effective vaccine that is readily available and free. Why take the chance you'll be an outlier and die needlessly?

I think we understand each other. Let me just say I'm glad as hell that my young and healthy sons, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter all got vaccinated.
