Yeah the collective selfishness that so many have exhibited is really disappointing.

I wouldn’t be shocked if my daughter was EDS - she is very double jointed in a few places.

This is interesting, many people don't understand the link between "mental struggles" and ED or POTS. Even so called experts. Did you know ED's have increased like 3 fold since the pandemic, directly attributed to lockdowns(isolation), and social media of course.

EDIT: I saw your follow up and realized you were talking about Ehler-Danlos syndrome, not Eating Disorders as I was speaking of.

In part you are correct, the biggest thing that has affected the mortality rate with HIV is the triple cocktail.

Yeah when I mentioned it to kids pediatrician years ago he did a couple of quick tests and said “No she definitely doesn’t have POTS or ED”. These theories hadn’t really percolated into the medical mainstream. With long Covid it might get more attention.

Just stop. People are not putting anyone at more risk because they don’t take a shot that is not stopping one from getting the supposed disease the shot is targeted to stop.

Make sure you avoid the vaccinated Pelosi right now…

Perhaps everyone can enjoy the precipitous decline in cases, hospitalization, and fatalities - not only the Fauci bashers ;). Meanwhile, the decline has leveled off and cases are beginning to rise, if only a little so far. Hopefully, there will be enough protection from Omicron infections + vax based immunity and the rise will not be substantial.

We were in Vegas a month ago. Wife and I both contracted Omicron. We wore N95s indoors, but ate at a bunch of restaurants, which I'm pretty sure is where we got it. She had cold symptoms for four days. It lingered for about two weeks for me, but nothing significant.

And how many of the people infected with Covid at the event required hospitalization? To the best of my recollection the answer is zero with most being asymptomatic and with those who were symptomatic having very mild cases. Seems to me that the vaccine was working rather well especially considering that a significant percentage of the persons infected at the event would be considered high risk by virtue of their age.

For those following along at home, the "study" was conducted by The Committee To Unleash Prosperity, an ALEC founded organization, with ties to The Council for National Policy and the Koch brothers. The results are exactly in line with their funding.

that loud noise you hear is the collective explosion of liberal/democratic heads when they learned the truth about covid lockdowns, shutdowns, the fact that their rock stap govenors in cali and new york screwed up and evil ron lead florida to good reviews, oh the agony learning the truth must be.

I refused to get genetically tested for EDS because I'm not sure what the point is other than to give insurance companies a way to screw me even more since there isn't any cure and treatment involves treating symptoms...i.e. injuries. My cousin has it and I have all the hallmarks of it. I am coming to a crossroads due to compounding issues related to EDS. It is frustrating since it seems to be disregarded as a condition unless you are an extreme case.

If it were me I’d want to know. Insurance is gonna do what it’s gonna do regardless.
