who is going to pick your food, slaughter your beef, raise your chickens, cut your yard, do your roof.....wnat to see inflation, deport all the illegal workers and watch the system collapse. Why dont you propose a serious guest worker program? Neither side will as both sides make too much profit from undocumented workers

Enormous (~700K) UK study of children ≤16yo in Lancet: Upon rare reinfection (<0.5%), prior Covid-19 infection history assoc with ZERO C19 mortality, (potentially) ZERO ICU admissions, exceedingly rare primary C19 hospitalizations.

Healthy kids have better chance of being struck by lightning than dying from covid.

Yes, the unvaccinated still continue to die from it. Thanks to the anti-vax republicans that still think it is hoax. But you all do you...

That Mutz continues to use data that includes the months where the vaccination rate was low with what is happening now in his attempt to push a narrative.

    Here is January in England…

Covid Deaths in January fully vaccinated 81.8% (3686). Partially Vaccinated 3.5% (157). Unvaccinated 14.6% (665).

The UK (trouble getting England from our world data for some reason) had 72.1% of the population fully vaccinated on January 31, 2022.

So what conclusion(s) does that breakdown tell you? Are you anti-vaxxing again?

And you continue to include raw statistics without any context, or full numbers. Just including total deaths without including the denominator so you can compare per total population, again, is akin to George Carlin reporting the sports scores.

When you add context like total population in each group, fully vaccinated, unvaccinated, and partially vaccinated, this is the result you get in the UK.

The risk of death involving COVID-19 in England has been consistently lower for people who had a third vaccine dose at least 21 days ago, compared with those who are unvaccinated and those with only a first or second dose.

People who had received a second vaccine dose but not a third dose had a higher risk of death involving COVID-19 if their second vaccine dose was over six months ago than those who had their second dose less than six months ago. This indicates possible waning protection from vaccination over time.

It with the previous data England has provided us shows the vaccine does not work well at all. It might provide a small therapeutic boost. But at the end of the day this virus is dangerous to the elderly/obese/overweight/immune compromised. It is not that dangerous to most.

Here is Englands data Jan-Dec 2021…

Fully Vaccinate deaths/Partially Vaccinate Deaths/Unvaccinated/Percent Of population fully vaccinated at the end of each month

December: 72.4% fully vaccinated covid deaths (1802)/2.9% partially vaccinated covid deaths (72)/unvaccinated covid deaths 24.7% (614)/Dec 31…70.6% of the population was fully vaccinated

November: 79.0% fully vaccinated covid deaths (2261)/2.3% partially vaccinated covid deaths (65)/unvaccinated covid deaths 18.7% (536)/Nov 30…69.0% of the population was fully vaccinated

October: 82.2% fully vaccinated covid deaths (2265)/2.6% partially vaccinated covid deaths(71)/unvaccinated covid deaths 15.2% (419)/Oct 31…68.0% of the population was fully vaccinated

September: 77.7% fully vaccinated covid deaths (2034)/3.6% partially vaccinated covid deaths (94)/unvaccinated covid deaths 18.7% (489)/September 30…66.9% of the population was fully vaccinated

August: 69.7% fully vaccinated covid deaths (1551)/4.3% partially vaccinated covid deaths(95)/unvaccinated covid deaths 26.0% (578)/Aug 31…63.8% of the population was fully vaccinated

July: 64.7% fully vaccinated coviddeaths (750)/6.7% partially vaccinated covid deaths (78)/unvaccinated covid deaths 28.6% (331)/July…57.0% ofthe population was fully vaccinated

June: 52.2% fully vaccinated covid deaths (167)/17.5% partially vaccinated covid deaths(56)/unvaccinated covid deaths 30.3% (97)/June 30…48.9% of the population was fully vaccinated

May: 23.5% fully vaccinated coviddeaths (70)/51.0% partially vaccinated covid deaths (152)/unvaccinated covid deaths 25.5% (76)/May 31…38.3% of the population was fully vaccinated

April: 7.8% fully vaccinated covid deaths (59)/61.1% partially vaccinated covid deaths (464)/unvaccinated covid deaths 31.2% (237)/April 30…22.3% of the population was fully vaccinated

March: 1.1% fully vaccinated coviddeaths (35)/56.3% partially vaccinated covid deaths (1730)/unvaccinatedcovid deaths 42.6% (1309)/March 31…6.7% of the population was fully vaccinated

February: 0.5% fully vaccinated covid deaths (63)/38.3% partially vaccinated covid deaths (4800)/unvaccinatedcovid deaths 61.2% (7671)/Feb 28…1.2% of the population was fully vaccinated

January: 0.0% fully vaccinated covid deaths (11)/12.2% partially vaccinated covid deaths (3407)/unvaccinated covid deaths 87.7% (24411)/Jan 31…0.7% of the population was fullyvaccinated

You're not adjusting for age, which plays an important role in how a body reacts to COVID. We know the entire population of kids under 5 worldwide are unvaccinated. So 100% of their deaths come from the unvaccinated. Fortunately, COVID does not hit the young as hard as it hits the elderly. This link from the CDC adjusts for age, and again, shows the vaccinated have better outcomes than the unvaccinated.

The harsh reality is an unvaccinated 3-year old has a better chance of surviving COVID than a fully vaccinated octogenarian. But when you adjust for age, you find again and again, the vaccinated octogenarian has a much better chance than his unvaccinated peer in the same age group.

The hard day speaks for itself. The elderly are the bulk of the deaths in all of the months. Vaccinated/Unvaccinated.

I understand the media has sold a narrative. But more vaccinated people are dying than unvaccinated. And it continues to be the elderly/obese/overweight/immune compromised.

Hopefully they are able to find better treatments.

The hard data does speak for itself. In all age groups, the vaccinated have better outcomes than the unvaccinated. So either all vaccinated peoples live better lifestyles, or the vaccine makes a big impact when it comes to surviving a COVID infection.

If I am pushing a narrative as you claim, it's an honest one, unlike yours, where you seek only to find what confirms your biases.

But I'm not pushing a narrative. It's drawing objective inferences from data. But nice effort to pivot from the US to UK. Doesn't work, however, since the story is still the same other than the UK in recent months have had more absolute number of vaxxed die than unvaxxed.

However, the rate differences remain extremely large, with unvaxxed dying at much higher rates (avg 7x more) than vaxxed, which fwiw, is what your percentages ignore.

Good news is the vaccine is about done.

Bad news is public health officials have done palpable damage and going forward it will be an uphill battle to earn trust back if they create a new drug that works well.

Lowering the likelihood of dying by a factor of 7 isn't working well?

More people are dying vaccinated than unvaccinated. 82% in January in England with 72% of the population vaccinated.

It is the elderly/obese/overweight/immune compromised dying of Covid. Vaccinated or Unvaccinated.
