Why should illegal immigrants get COVID and spread it? The virus doesn’t know immigration status. Getting as many people vaxed as we can with the great mRNA vaccines we have is WHY We are where we are.

11 million undocumented already live here. Many for years. Decades even. And their crime for either crossing the border illegally or overstaying a visa? A misdemeanor on par with J-walking.

They are also an important part of our economy. 8 million in the work force doing things like picking crops and construction, that often wouldn't happen without their labor.

They all deserve to be treated as humans. And if we have enough vaccine to give, which we do, they deserve to get jabbed for free like the rest of us.

I have paid a grand total of zero dollars for my three covid shots and my tests. My insurance paid I think close to a 100 bucks for everything but I would have to check my records for that.

Odd the obsession with Fauci since his agency doesn’t have anything to do with the vaccines. The FDA and CDC do. But then, in right wing boogey man or woman land, you need to demonize people who tell the truth. Repeatedly. And most don’t have the brains to even know what they are taking about. Covid testing has been free too, though there have been entities that charge and now that funds are running out, some private entities will likely charge, at least until congress provides more funding. But if you've paid, you might want to take it up with your state & county leaders.

No. The overall death rate under Trump compared to Biden was similar until vaccinations became more widespread among the population. When Biden took office, however, we were at the peak of the deadliest period for covid but since April 2021 when vaccines became available for everyone, unvaxxed have died at rates 9 - 19 times that of vaxxed. This comes to about nearly 9 in every 10 covid deaths since April 2021, with most of the other deaths being people who were vaxxed--mostly elderly and/or those with multiple comorbidities.
