Yeah, the funny thing about all the bickering over various states doing this and that is that the country as a whole had a terrible response to COVID.

 

It is amazing how much this shows the bad faith. For months, complaints about how he would never go away no matter what happened because he loved being on TV so much followed by mocking him for receding into the background as cases went down.

 

Why a reckoning? The majority of deaths( 65 and older (700,000). Also the majority of deaths were unhealthy people (2 or more comobidities) when it is all said and done, the nation will be younger and healthier.

 

Isn't that basically the logic of Logan's Run? Old people and "unhealthy" people are drains on society and we shouldn't concern ourselves with their deaths?

 

We are the fattest, least active country in the world. It stands to reason we would have more Covid comorbidity deaths than the rest of the world.

 

But the new drugs are the only and I mean only answer.

 

In the face of a global pandemic! Q--- "everyone immediately lose 20 pounds, and exercise. Don't take new drugs" Yeah, that's going to be the answer. SMH

 

That will absolutely help. Even more so since the new drugs have not worked to stop and slow the spread as the new variants came…
