After two years and 1700+ pages I think everyone is entrenched in their perceptions. Being potentially on the precipice of WWIII could make Covid concerns back seat real quick anyways. At this point everyone has made their decisions on whether to get vaccinated or not and whether to wear a mask or not. Just got to live it out and see what happens.

Just my two cents.

 

If only one side would just live with it. Instead of trying to force, through govt decree, the other side to do as they say. If you feel you need it, mask up and booster up. Let others decide for themselves.

 

The reason is the vaccine dosage for kids under 5 hasn't been deemed safe yet. Which is unfortunate. Because Omicron caused a significant increase in hospitalizations for kids under 5 years old. Meanwhile, the hospitalization rate for kids 5-17 remained the same. Likely because there are a percentage of kids in this age range who are vaccinated. And as this article states, the majority of kids in pediatric hospitals with COVID are either under 5 and ineligible for the vaccine, or unvaccinated.

Do you really think Omicron, which caused the largest spike in pediatric COVID hospitalizations also caused a sharp spike in kid's broken arms as well? And that's the cause for the spike in hospitalizations, and not COVID?

Again, the risk is low for children. The vaccine lowers the risk even more.

Not at all.

My motivation is to call out the absurdity of coercing people to take a new drug for a disease that they may not want to take the drug for. A drug that has not done what it was sold to do for a disease that is not that dangerous to most. To call out the propaganda that has scared people into irrational beliefs and thoughts.

With that I fully support anyones decision to take these drugs and booster up.

 

This is the type of thing that the propaganda has done. I just posted the numbers from England. Israel was reporting similar numbers back in the late summer with the delta surge and now they don’t provide easy access to the data.
