Sure, under DeSantis' leadership, Florida is above average when looking at age-adjusted data.

    More on Ivermectin:

"Ivermectin, an inexpensive, easy-to-administer, and widely available antiparasitic drug, has been used as an oral therapy for COVID-19. An in vitro study demonstrated inhibitory effects of ivermectin against SARS-CoV-2.12 Although some early clinical studies suggested the potential efficacy of ivermectin in the treatment and prevention of COVID-19,13,14 these studies had methodologic weaknesses.15

16 and Argentina17 found no significant effect of ivermectin on symptom resolution and hospitalization rates for patients with COVID-19. A Cochrane meta-analysis18 also found insufficient evidence to support the use of ivermectin for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19.

19 In the present randomized clinical trial, we studied the efficacy of ivermectin for preventing progression to severe disease among high-risk patients with COVID-19 in Malaysia."

U.S. Surgeon General Murthy and his family test positive for COVID (msn.com)

(Reuters) - U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and his family have tested positive for COVID-19, he said on Friday.

"My 5 year old son, my wife Alice, and I have all tested positive for COVID-19. Our son has a runny nose and low grade fever but is otherwise eating, drinking, playing with his sister, and watching his favorite cartoons," Murthy said on Twitter.

Murthy, a leading U.S. government spokesperson on public health, added that he and his wife had mild symptoms. His wife had a headache and fatigue, while he was experiencing muscle aches, chills and a sore throat, he said.

He added that his 4-year-old daughter, who tested positive first over the past weekend, was "doing ok" and her fever was starting to improve.

"She's still congested and is now hoarse from all the coughing, but thankfully she’s still smiling and enjoying her arts and crafts," he added.

Murthy also stressed the importance of being vaccinated and boosted against the virus and reiterated the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine in his tweets on Friday.

Everybody look how well the vaccine and boosters are working, wait they're not. Just one more jab should do it

'It's the jab': Top insurance companies report spike in excess deaths (wnd.com)

In January, the CEO of a major Midwest insurance company disclosed in a virtual Chamber of Commerce meeting that his company had seen a 40% increase in all-cause deaths in the last half of 2021, describing it as four times higher than a once-in-200 years event.

That startling rise came as the daily number of deaths from COVID-19 was less than half of what it was the previous year, suggesting the vaccines are the most likely cause
Now, a former Blackrock portfolio manager, Edward Dowd, has followed up by compiling fourth quarter death claims data from major insurance firms.

"Bottom line is, they saw an acceleration in mortality in the second half of 2021, OK. Given the 'miracle vaccines,' that should not have occurred," said Dowd in a podcast interview with Kristi Leigh.

Dowd cited fourth quarter rises in death claims, compared to the 2019 rate, of 57% for Lincoln National, 41% for Prudential, 32% for Hartford, 24% for MetLife and 21% for RGA.

Three people with Covid. None in the hospital. Thanks for showing how well the vaccine/booster works. Oh wait, just another detail posters with political agendas might miss. Priceless.

When will you all realize the virus is going to virus and that this is about more than just direct Covid deaths?

Any death is awful. And creating circumstances that increase indirect deaths and mental issues is awful and a problem. Shutting down causes terrible harm. Mandates damages trust in public health. This has been a disaster in how to handle public health.

DeSantis is the Gold Standard in how to lead through this terrible disease. November will prove it. So will November 2024 right now. We will see. But right now it is clear.

Lol the majority of people who were vaxed or didn't take the jab had the same symptoms bro, that's not political, just the facts.

Exactly!!! Most people vaccinated or unvaccinated have similar symptoms. And we still have people that want to force others into taking a drug that was designed for the spike protein of a variant long gone. Knowing that most are low risk. If someone is high risk and does not want the drug...their choice. Honestly. I would have encouraged taking these drugs if you were high risk in the beginning. Now sadly we have to question why we have not come out with newer generations and continue to peddle the now old version that does not work to slow the spread of anything. And we see in England that a majority of deaths are from the fully vaccinated and the percentage is higher than the percentage of fully vaccinated people in England.

You totally missed what I said or just ignored the reality that there is more to Covid than "age adjusted deaths".

November will show you that DeSantis is the Gold Standard. Unless some crazy thing comes out that is not Covid related.

Oh the majority is your number? Pitiful low bar. So as long as 51 of 100 stay out of the hospital, you're good? In that case the vaccine was simply awesome for you then. Try to focus though. The poster stated they were all vaxed and 100% were not serious. Seems your political blinders must make the facts opaque at times.

I take DeSantis's handling of Covid as a whole. I look at the fact that he had to deal with a larger population of susceptible patients, not just old but Hispanic and black, yet still fared better than other states without as many of those populations. Then I add in the freedoms that we had here compared to other states and the harm additional masking and isolation in those states did to kids. Taken in total he did a good job. Certainly not the mad killer leftists and the media would try to make one believe.
