Once again, how could she infect others if it's all a hoax (according to our president).

    Positive fallout of virus threat:

Im a fast food breakfast guy. McDonald’s, chic fila, etc... and since I work in a commercial area the quality of these places is usually not up to standard. They are now cleaning 24/7. Places shine now. Even the homeless have commented on the upgrade to their sleeping situation.

Trump had a hunch a nuclear missile would break up a hurricane.

This is where his off the cuff speeches get him in trouble. What he actually means is that White House coronavirus expert Dr. Anthony Fauci told him that since there are likely a lot more cases than we know about the death rate is probably closer to or less than 1%.

Trump disputes WHO's 3.4 percent global death rate for coronavirus
"I think the 3.4 percent is really a false number,” Trump told Fox News’s Sean Hannity in a phone interview Wednesday evening when asked for his reaction to the death rate reported earlier this week. “Now, this is just a hunch, but based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this."

He really is a special kind of stupid. A hunch based on conversations with "a lot of people". How do people stand behind that much stupid?
I know some of his supporters, they all are not that stupid but you have to wonder.

In 1952, 3000 people in the US died from polio and 60,000 US citizens were inflicted with polio disease causing crippling to some parts of their body. Until the vaccine came out, polio caused similar fear, but there was not the news and internet to cause panic. Our politicians also were not using it as a political tool in attempt to influence voters. Spoke with my Mom about this over the weekend. She has memories of her grandmother not letting her leave the house, a boy down the street dying and a star athlete in town losing use of his legs due to polio. Interesting to see how the media is promoting for ratings and the increased internet access are changing the world reaction to these type events.

It seems that it has to be inflated. It is pretty EZ to calculate the numerator. The denominator - in lieu of some extrapolating - must be under-stated.

Take out a sharpie and strike out the 3. A 0.4 rate isn’t bad.

I can remember going to the courthouse and waiting in line to get the vaccine. A girl down the street had it and was crippled for life. It was a very real fear at the time.

It's not inflated at all, but the numbers themselves may be flawed. 3347 is exactly 3.4% of 97841.

My pt is that it is most likely inflated B/C the numbers are flawed. I suspect they have a pretty accurate count of deaths & an under-stated count of people who've contracted the virus.

At the gym, I’m noticing people wiping down equipment much more thoroughly before they on it.
