Do you not understand what the word 'total' means? As in total daily deaths will rise?

off course i do, but i am talking about the % of deaths from this virus dropping due to various factors, ie it is milder, medicines are better etc

Gov. Ron DeSantis on his need for a COVID test: ‘I’d only test if I had symptoms.’

He also tried to use Miami data to show that vaccinations don't work.

That's not what we were talking about. Here is the exchange. Read it and understand it.

    I said:

The current 7 day average for deaths in the US is about 1200 per day. Do you not think that number will go up in the coming days and weeks?

    And you said:

no, because this has been shown to be a much milder strain.

We use a mix - my son likes the fun of cloth but I put filter into our cloth ones. I have a stash of masks - 3 layer surgical, 4 layer surgical, KN95, N95, even have one that has a USB battery powered fan I wore during my son's summer baseball games LOL.

    But I'm a weirdo:)

And the kits expired while Florida was having the lowest case rates in the entire country. Glad we were prepared. Now omicron hits and everyone is low so DeSantis makes the correct executive decision to prioritize.

I am not sure if it is hate or ignorance that creates some of the delusion we see. This is a terrible disease. We know plenty more and are seeing what works and does not work well. Things are absolutely changing.

DeSantis continues to be the Gold Standard for leading through this…

Dying is not the only less than optimal outcome from covid that could easily be avoided.

A mask with a battery powered fan? Is that to enable germs to be expelled further away or what?

    Fear porn got you huh.
The far majority of high risk people are jabbed and boosted. The ones that are not, it’s their own life to gamble with it. Even they have a much higher chance of surviving than dying of the thing.

No the fan has a filter so it cleans the air beforehand. Then there's a softer filter on the inside of the mask. It helps circulates the air. I used it only on baseball tournament days (90+degrees outside for 8 hours) so my face wouldn't get as hot. This was also pre-Covid as the mask police didn't allow vented masks from Day 1...even though they're filtered too *shrug*

They are 16X more likely to die if they get it than a vaccinated person.

U.S. COVID-19 case rate by state | Statista

This data from 12/16 ,which is closest to the expiration of the 1 million test kits happened, shows Fl as the 17th WORST state. That's the Gold Standard?

Where do people come up with these numbers... Anyhow, yes high-risk people are obviously risking it by not taking the vaccine. By a very large margin, most deaths are those 75 plus. That age group in most countries is 85% plus vaxxed. Oddly the numbers vaxxed drops in the 85+ age group. I am assuming many in that age group have health reasons that they cant.

Someone 40 years old that is unvaxxed is not 16x more likely to die than a 40-year-old vaccinated person.

99.995 people survive so the number must be astronomical.
