This stat is meaningless from a metrics perspective. Recoveries take much longer. Again, I don't understand why this is meaningful. No expert thinks this thing has even a 5% death rate.

 

It is just something to watch. I agree recoveries take longer. I look at it like this, nothing scientific.
As long as this number continues to go up or stays the same, than we are still on the wrong side of the curve.

 

If anyone wants to observe how spin is done to try and affect people's thinking - look at the WHO now stating that the US may be the epicenter of the Coronavirus spread in the world when the US deaths per population is dwarfed by Western Europe. That is how spin works - just like the spin that a million people in the US may die from this.
