It's obviously your choice to make, but what is to be gained by withholding the vaccine? How does keeping them from a vax that has modest benefits put them first? While marginal the benefits still outweigh the risks.

If the vaccine risks were more than the benefits I get your point, but they aren't. Putting your kids first isn't just protecting them against rare unknown risks. Keeping their grandparents healthy is also in their interests too.

The Nazis didn't start by asking people to wear masks during a pandemic. So it is pretty easy to ignore that connection, given that it is non-existent. Meanwhile, the US government of the post-World War I era did exactly that. So yeah...I'll ignore fake history and pay attention to real history.

grounds that require children to be vaccinated against a virus they have virtually no health issues with just to attend an ever so important education.

There are basic, minimum decency standards set by the government. There are also OSHA standards for things like food prep. Chefs can't cook your food in a restaurant without a shirt on, for example. Or a hairnet, for that matter.

Businesses can go further and require more, like a suit and tie, but minimums are usually set by the government. And when it comes to public safety, the government can certainly set standards. Unless you think anti-smoking laws in public are unconstitutional.

Low risk to kids, but a risk exists nonetheless. Over 8,600 5-11 year olds in a hospital, and over 170 have died. Vaccine lowers this risk. But again, it's not just lowering the risk in the kids that is the goal for vaccination. The vaccine protects teachers and staff, and family members who live or visit the kids and school staff. Among them, the elderly, like grandparents.

The risks for the vaccine for kids is smaller than the disease. The benefits, especially when you consider community benefits, far outweigh any risks. This makes kid vaccination the right thing to do.

Because a leaky vaccine is the way to herd immunity?

    here is how it works.

Someone who is vaccinated gets Covid.
Inside their body the virus is rapidly reproducing but getting resistance due to the body’s knowledge of the spike protein. As the virus is rapidly splitting and reproducing, it splits a variant that is now vaccine resistant.

A real vaccine would have much better than 50% protection against infection after just 4-6 months after the shot.

so why do different states have different speeds allowed, different percentage for drunk driving, different ages for marriage, why is all not 1 standard if the government cared? they allow, for now, individualism.

Okay, and none of those have anything to do with asking people to fight a pandemic. We have had mask mandates and vaccine mandates many times throughout our history. If we start banning people from shopping at Jewish stores, you officially can start comparing the situation now to then.

Who do you think sets all of those restrictions? It is the government. You don't get to set an individual-specific speed limit.

How many kids were hospitalized in the placebo group versus the vaccine group? What was the average PCR Threshold rate that the kids testing positive had? Was Pfizer using 40 for the PCR Threshold? If so, then those numbers don't mean much to me. But what is important is did the vaccine prevent hospitalizations?

Okay? Do you really need to have it explained to you why "wear a mask in stores because it lowers the spread of a communicable disease" is different than "don't shop at Jewish owned stores?"

You asked me what you assumed was an unanswerable question so I answered it

What is your response? Act like it never happened and start asking more questions.

I have no idea why people keep saying this. You nor I have any idea of the long term issues from the covid vaccine. Saying otherwise is not being truthful. Since there is zero risk for a healthy child, then no need. It’s why the WHO isn’t recommending the vaccine for children unless they have pre-existing conditions.

I don’t see how they did their testing for covid. So hard to make a determination. I see you don’t want to answer the other question. Why would you LOL.

You openly worry and assume the possibility of long term consequences of the covid vaccine, even though there is no evidence they exist (to any material degree), and even though in the history of vaccines there have been no instances of unknown long term consequences cropping up after a few months, but yet you deny the existence of long term side effects from covid the disease, when there is ample evidence they do exist.

And you wonder why nobody takes you seriously?
