As soon as I am allowed. But what does that have to do with my original point about vaccinations reducing the spread of Covid?

You clearly didn't read the data or the article.

    upload_2021-10-13_14-19-42.png

T and B cells are strong well beyond 6-8 months. When it comes to breakthrough and being infectious, it takes some time for B cells to start producing antibodies again. It's not like BAM, flood of antibodies...

The good news is if you have had covid before or are vaccinated, getting infected again is very likely to keep you from any serious illness.

But to your arugment, there is more and more evidence that the vaccine does not provide long last protection against spreading the virus.

We are seeing these drugs are not what they were sold as. Vermont. 80% of the deaths fully vaccinated. England and Scotland actually providing the data on this and showing similar percentages. Yes they were old on average. That is exactly who the virus targets. Just like the younger people that die typically have comorbidities (obesity/asthma/etc).

This is a terrible virus. But not one where shot gunned drugs should be mandated for it.

End of the day...this disease is not that dangerous to a young healthy person. Kids are in far more danger driving around in a car than they are of Covid. And probably the thing that has broke the covid fear porn back is the fact that none of those who continue to peddle it are willing to acknowledge natural immunity. It is evil enough to inflict your authoritarian beliefs on another. Doing so while denying natural immunity in the process shows a level of evil I did not know was achievable.

The vaccinated have nothing to worry about. It is time to stop inflicting evil on others for no reason.

I read it. It is incomplete.

To my point, if you reduce the time that someone is infectious, you reduce the probability of the spreading it. So, now we get into definitions. Is it is the probability that they are able to spread it during an encounter while they are infectious? Or, are we talking about over time and the probability of encountering somone who is infected and infectious. Those numbers are different.

I don't have an issue with anyone who gets or does not get the shot.

I have an issue with people who want to force people to get a shot they do not want. And it sounds like you might be one that thinks it is good that people are being coerced into something they don't want.

If you are concerned about the selfish out there...you need to target the obese and those who do not take care of themselves. That group causes far more stress on the healthcare system and they would actually protect themselves from Covid and a litany of other diseases if they did something about it.

But when you have nothing...the old ad hominin is a favorite. Well done!

It really is sick and evil to read your implied position that others should be forced to do something they do not want.

    Come on nc...

You very well know most people do not have the autonomy or ability to just up and leave their job and start from scratch without having serious consequences. Forcing them into this decision is evil. This father of two is expecting his third child shortly. He is young and healthy. He did not want the shot.

Of course he could have quit and tried to find an employer not coercing people or try to start his own gig at something. But that is just not something everyone is capable of.

I really hope you do not find joy in the fact some are actually leaving careers they love if they have the ability. Or that a young healthy man is coerced into taking a new drug for a disease that is of little to no risk to them. That would be just evil.

You are generally only infectious the first 5-7 days anyhow. 2-3 of those days are usually before you even show symptoms. You can keep coming up with lab studies, but real-world data is not holding up to your claim.

Those not taking this drug are not doing anything to anyone. The vaccinated forced their immune system to work. It helps slightly with severe disease. But at that end of the day...the numbers are beginning to show it does not do much. So lets stop forcing people to take a drug for a disease that is not dangerous to them. And for those that want the drug. Take the drug.

People who do not want to take this drug are not antivaxxers either.

Why do you keep ignoring that if you adjust for age, a vaccine substantially cuts your risk of dying of Covid, as shown by the data that you provided?

Every piece of data you have presented has shown substantial decreases in mortality rates due to vaccination.

Delta isn't deadlier on a case by case basis, but since it is significantly more contagious, there will be significantly more cases. Something like 3X to 4X more.

The reason we are seeing more cases and deaths now versus pre-vaccine is things are more "normal" now, with crowds gathering, masks off, etc. Before the vaccine, there were no crowds at any sporting event, no concerts, lock-downs, etc. Since the vaccine, things have reopened, and we now have a pandemic of the unvaccinated.

There will always be breakthrough cases, but the unvaxxed make up the majority of cases, majority of hospitalizations, and the overwhelming majority of COVID deaths. And with Delta, until we reach 90% of the population, or more, with some immunity to reach a herd level, there are going to be large number of cases among the unvaxxed, plus a sprinkling of breakthroughs.

That’s a lot of words to say “I’m too selfish to drive to the CVS, roll up my sleeve and get a damn shot to help my fellow Americans.”

You really should just stop. It’s embarrassing.
