Waaay to much money in dying with covid. Not only that but it's become a huge cash cow for so many, can't let the covid doom porn go too far into the back of people's mind.

Which is kind of impressive considering that most of their deaths occured in the first couple months of the pandemic.

So since we know almost all schools in FL started by the week of Aug 19, this shows no difference in mask requirements and those without mask requirements. Maybe next time. Let's see, School closures, lockdowns and now masks. Way to hit the trifecta bud! You should bet the ponies!

The data is so easy to access. All you have to do is google covid cases and compare the graphs for high mandate compliant states with no mandate low compliant states.

Now we have Florida for the second time showing that districts with mandated mask wearing do not protect their citizens anymore than the no mandated districts.

Wear a mask if you wish. But it is all for political theater.

Thanks for your version of capitulation, since you didn't even address the point I made and went off on your ego protection. I'll take it. Better luck next time.

Because covid started there before anyone had started distancing, before lockdowns. And the density of NYC meant there was huge amount of transmission in a short period of time. And they didn't know how best to treat covid patients at the beginning of the pandemic.

You're going to come back with nursing homes, and that was a mistake on NY's part, but that was only part of the reason for the huge surge in cases and deaths in the first 2 months of the pandemic in NY.

Why did New York's deaths mostly occur at the beginning? I would expect that was because we didn't know what we were dealing with and it took a couple months to get these figured out.

Why has Florida been making so much progress moving up the ratings since then? I don't have any good answers, but it looks like mostly politics rather than science.

Wrong on that. DeSantis shut down Nursing Homes on or around March 9th of 2020. Just because NY/NJ didn't do that doesn't excuse them from their numbers.

We did know what we were dealing with. Italy was the one country caught off guard.

Nope. You sound like Nikki Fried trying to make some numbers look bad when in reality the numbers show zero negligible difference. Shocking. I would say you are due to be right soon, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I noticed that the 7day avg dipped below 100k for the first time since early August which is exciting news, but there's no need to show your FDS. ;)

There is no need for fauci to ignore or downplay good news but he does.
