One post versus hundreds if not thousands. Does that seem like the same thing to you?

 

Sorry you are upset. Not my fault many on here were wrong about Lockdowns, school closures and masks.

 

I listed the specific back when my "rant" started. I will leave out the names.
Here are just a few. I left out a couple that were VERY unfair in nature because they were fueled by personnel pain and I will give some leeway for that.

But this is just my 10 minute quick search. Just as I stated above. Lumping people politically. Accusations of harming children. Calling hesitancy "selfishness" with no caveats...and yes the constant belief that kindness wont work. (I didn't quote those...they are everywhere over the past several pages as people try and defend their unfair accusations.

There are many more of course.

 

As a group, the willfully unvaccinated are contributing to all of these things.

 

Also, it wasnt my intent to aim it at you. "You" was meant generically. I worded it poorly.

 

What does "willfully" include? Those waiting for more info?
I would have chosen a different vaccine had I waited just a little longer.

There are valid reasons to be patient. Could you argue the cost/benefit makes the decision clear? Perhaps. But, accusing those in that quandary, of killing grandparents, endangering children, being "the reason 700K are dead" etc is lazy. Especially when it is possible not a single person those comments were directly aimed at ever contracted or spread on single thing.

It's really simple. The sooner people get vaccinated, the fewer people die. If everyone waited for more info (despite tons of evidence that the vaccines were safe and effective) many more people would be dead now.

 

Yet, I waited and spread it to nobody. That is the point about these blanket accusations. I did other things to help. Masked, Distance, Set a strong workplace covid policy. Limited where my kids went etc. Waiting for the vax does not equal anti vax and it does not make you the reason people are dying.

 

Nope you either are all vaccine right away or you choose death and misery for others. It's one or the other. If you aren't all vax then you're also knuckle-dragging Trumpian.

He has used the term 35 times in 18 months and the term has only been used 87 times ever according to the GC search feature.
So that means that either it isn't used nearly as much as you think...or the mods have cleaned it up "hundreds if not thousands" of times which would seem pretty darn good, agree?

With all due respect, your anecdotal experience means jack shit.

The more people who wait like you did the more people die.

 

The point is, anyone who accused me of killing their grandparents was wrong. I never met their grandparents and I haven't had covid. The same is true for almost anyone the comment would be aimed at. Had I been careless and ignored protocol that ended up with me testing positive and then I spread it to someone who died...sure. But the blanket comment that simply waiting was killing people would literally apply to anyone that did not get the shot the very minute they were eligible and could get an appointment.

I guess we all endangered kids and killed grandparents, some of us just have the high horse of having done it for a shorter time? I mean is that the argument?

Wait, you thought I was referring to 'coronabros' specifically? Perhaps I should have been more clear. I was referring to his posting style in general, which many people here find offensive and annoying and which is why there are constantly pissing matches with this particular poster. As for 'coronabros', I could be wrong but I thought he was told by a mod to stop using it at one point. Now he's using it again.

 

While there is a striking similarity between Trump and Biden with respect to the vaccine there is also one significant difference. There is already data indicating that a third shot significantly increases immunity. Israel began offering boosters to its citizens over the age of 60 back in July, it now offers a third shot to every one of its citizens who were previously vaccinated and the booster has shown to be very effective.
