Which works for most people, but with a major caveat. In order to get natural immunity, you need to get infected with the virus first. And if/when you get infected, you run the risk of ending up in the hospital, or dying, like the over 600,000 Americans who have already passed because of COVID. Taking the vaccine before you get sick? Good chance you won't get the disease at all, and even if you are one of the rare, breakthrough cases, very high probability you won't end up in the hospital or worse, in the morgue.

Yes. Exercise and eating well contribute to reducing commorbidites. Odds are better.

Partly true. But meat and dairy consumption contributed to weight gain. And we find western diet associated illnesses even in thin people who eat meat and dairy.

I eat a Whole Foods plant based diet. And fish is better for you then meat or dairy, but not healthy. And, in any event, there are immense problems with fish due to the conditions of our oceans and fresh water and the problems with fish farming. But this is getting far afield from the topic. This is better for another thread on the science. And there is a lot of it

Sounds like something coming from PETA to scare you away from eating meat. Haven't seen any RCT's showing eating meat causes obesity.

As far as meat causing disease I would tend to agree here but you also have to understand the the western diet is also one that is high in saturated fats, ‘empty’ carbohydrates—junk food—and low in fresh fruits. So in these studies how much of these other things were a factor?

Fine, start another thread, but you stated, and are still stating things that are partially if not fully untrue. The fact that raising animals or consuming fish may have negative consequences for the planet is a different issue than they cause diabetes or are unhealthy. Yes, consuming excess amounts of certain fish may expose people to certain pollutants, but fish has certain health benefits that aren't easily replicable with a plant based diets.

But I've seen no evidence that meat and dairy by themselves cause diabetes. And I'm not clear that meat and dairy by themselves contribute to weight gain. To some extent, they are satiating, which can make people less hungry.

Yes, there are likely other health consequences to eating too much meat.
