Is this what causes folks to be anti-vaxxers?

To be fair, that graph compares FL with the four national regions. I've viewed it on a daily basis and for several days it was Louisiana at the top. Before that, it was Arkansas. Doesn't change what's happening in FL, which is very concerning.

And you believe that? It take years to come up with a real vaccine. I hope our government never attempts to mandate the jab in our country, not that any country (none that I know of) has mandated that as of yet.

Eh, we'll just start threatening or arresting anyone that doesn't toe the covid line, they'll all shut up in due course.

Maybe the reason you don't have any friends is because you spend all your time on GCTH

And do know how long scientists have been working on perfecting a mRNA vaccine? Three decades plus. I would call that years. And again, a mRNA vaccine is not a gene therapy. A gene therapy changes DNA code by introducing RNA into a person's genetic code. A mRNA vaccine cannot do that because the mRNA vaccine code contains no gene splicer (think DNA scissors and tape), and the mRNA vaccine code starts breaking down hours after being injected into the body. The mRNA vaccine does one thing, which is provoke an immune response, then it breaks down and leaves the system.

More traditional vaccines work in a similar way. But instead of using mRNA, traditional vaccines use attenuated viruses, which are viruses with their respective "teeth" removed. Meaning it's virus that will invoke the immune response, but shouldn't cause a person to feel the full effects of the illness.

The mRNA vaccine works in the exact same way, but instead of using an attenuated virus, scientists just figured out the mRNA strand needed. Once the full genetic code of COVID-19 was mapped, it was just a matter of figuring out the right mRNA section to create the vaccine. Everything else was ready to go. The mRNA vaccine was researched and created to fight cancer, but it's malleable enough to fight against any virus. Again, all you need is the right genetic code, and the mRNA vaccine becomes pretty much plug and play. In the future, all new vaccines will be these same, basic vaccines, and as soon as the right genetic mRNA code is isolated, production will start.

So to say this vaccine came on the market too quickly, is to ignore the science behind the 30+ years of mRNA vaccine research.

I took the quote from the links you provided. So are you saying you don't believe your own links?

I looked at the numbers... percentages. But with so many different vaccines to choose from I'm not sure we can pick a winner or accurate numbers one way of another. I'm hoping my cautiousness and immune system hold on for something a bit more safe and proven safe than these early types of vaccines.

I'm staying away from people and taking vitamins right now... until I am forced to act one way or another.

Ouch, I don't think I've been subjected to such razor wit and biting commentary since 2nd grade recess.

Locally its being used a lot in the OP setting.

Many studies have been done regarding ivermectin both for treatment and prevention.
The info is out there, if people care to do their own research.

Looking thru people's MD visit notes all day, I've seen it used a couple of times for covid patients at home.

You do realize that a Korean team had the genetic sequence for the Spike Protein in 17 days. Seventeen.

I know some of you anti-vaxxers do not get it, but way back in 2019, we had technology. The technology helped us to further understand science in ways and at rates that were not possible just 10-20 years ago.

    Put another way

"Science = it's like magic, but real!!"
