I mean you have an ability to twist too. Lets look no further than you twisting what I just said as favoritism towards a side.

 

Now here I completely disagree. Getting the vaccine is the best thing we can do to save other lives. This "you haven't saved a single life" statement isn't any better than the "theatrics" you are accusing another of. I don't know what your kids have to do with you getting vaxxed. Vast numbers of well-informed members of the medical community encourage the vaccine for those who are eligible. People here are echoing those words of encouragement. And if people are lacking patience, it's because everyone's lives have been turned upside down by this virus. We all want for it to be over and we ARE in a race between the vaccines and the variants.

 

Who is proposing that you or anybody else force vaccines on children?

 

Fair, my point was to counter one sensational statement with another. This idea that only people who have the vaccine are saving lives or have helped stem the tide is nonsensical.
As for the rest of your point about me vs my kids, it is valid and one of the parts of this that I am processing.

 

Again, I wasn't even addressing what you do as a mod or what other mods do. I was addressing when you show up to post on issues here. You avoid him when he is ranting about masks (rather than being even handed, since you are supposedly for masks and challenging his points). Then you show up to defend him on vaccines or liking Trump or whatever. I think it is because you view him as being on "your side." I am not arguing moderation bias.

I would be. My 3 children are all minors. I am hesitant to force them to get an unapproved vaccine without a bit more time passing.
If by some reason we have swung and missed here, they will pay for it much longer than me.

 

Having a different perspective is different than outright lying. But again, you have no issue with that when he does it. Just when somebody not on "your side" does it.

BTW, would it be considered "twisting" when I explain to you multiple times that I am not addressing your role as a moderator and you continue to act like that is what I am saying?

I think you misunderstood the question. I was asking who is suggesting that parents force the vax on their children. Are you saying that you would force it on your children (I don't think so, but I could be wrong). After catching up, I see there are some messages that urge parents (or shame them) to get their kids vaxxed. I hadn't seen that until now.

 

You make up lies about me but then call me a liar. Hilarious. Just own your positions. It will continue to be called out.

I do not. I explained my position on schools to you. I then offered you the opportunity to find me any post that was not consistent with that. You refused to do so, multiple times. And yet, you continue to say things that aren't true. Before that interaction, you may have been mistaken (as you often are). After, you are lying. And I will call you out for lying every single time you do it. So if you don't like it, stop lying. You are hoping that you will get away with lies because people won't call you out on it. I will call you out for lying. Which you are.

 

Liars lie. You remind me of Costanza. "it's not a lie if you believe it" is your motto. I called you out for lying on your position on schools. You lied about it. I was hoping you'd be a man about it but I was wrong. I'll continue to call you out on the BS garbage you post.

 

I post as I moderate. They aren't really separate. Calling a poster out for "lying" would fall under my duties as a moderator. When you say I ignore it based on my side that calls into question my fairness as a mod. You have been very clear how you claim you meant it. I am telling you how I received it.

 

Prove it then. I will offer you another opportunity. Show me a post where I said all schools should be closed. Put up or shut up time again.

I posted data showing a vaccine that had serious issues and is more dangerous for young populations versus covid itself. Yet this drug was originally approved in Europe.
