OK. I’m going to admit it. I assume most of you guys have seen workers opening the doors at Walmart and all these fat ass people racing each other and playing bumper cars with their cart to get to the toilet paper. after seeing that no one keeled over with a coronary, I could not stop laughing.

Reminded me of the movie Zombieland (which if you haven’t seen it you must) - “first ago are the fatties.“

I don’t. But it’s what the executives at a large corporation HQd in South Florida have been told. It’s expected to happen by the end of the day.

Treasury secretary says tax filing deadline moved to July 15

"We are moving Tax Day from April 15 to July 15," Secretary Steven Mnuchin tweeted. "All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties."

He said he was acting at President Donald Trump's direction.

The White House had announced previously that it would defer tax payments for 90 days but that Americans would still need to file by April 15.

Now the deadline will be extended into the summer.

Mnuchin said Americans with refunds should still file now"

I heard talk of Dade/Broward shutting down due to the hot spot in that area.

Don't see anything about state wide.

DeSantis mentioned this in his press conference yesterday afternoon - Dade is already closed, but his office would be working with Broward and Palm Beach today (Friday) on an order to shutter all non-essential businesses.

My office already posted a "if you can work from home, please work from home" and we've been doing that since late last week. But today I'm telling my people if they need to pick up anything from the office, make plans to get it today.

Nice to see Trump pushing back a little finally against these doom pushing reporters. He is doing a nice job dealing with these idiots when they keep pressing him on a national lockdown and with their mess on trying these treatments with already approved meds.

These joke reporters are literally doing gotcha questions wanting him to push CA and NY's economy killing overreaction to every state. I think he has caught on to what is really going on here and why the WHO and CDC put out all that alarmist nonsense. He has to wait for that curve to flatten at the end of March probably to start telling the real truth more.

Watching the White House press briefing and just have to laugh at these “reporters”, some are just ridiculous. Why and how have journalism schools produced such a poor product in so many cases?

He can’t help himself. It’s nice to see the press room show some solidarity. Would still like to see more follow up when the president and others try to brush off a question.
