A lot of people had it or have it and don't bother getting tested because the symptoms are a walk in the park OR they get tested and get a false negative. We are now over 20,000,000 confirmed Covid positives. Using the flu as an example, like the flu, you have to assume that probably 5x or 6x that number have contracted the virus. So, roughly 1/3rd of our population has had or has the virus now. Add to that the mutations that seem to be making it more contagious and it's an act of futility to try to stop this with anything but a vaccine.

Just got a positive Covid test back. I knew it would be that because the past 2 weeks have ranged from fatigue to breathing issues to a rollercoaster temp ride from 100.8 down to 95.5. Not till yesterday did I think I was going to get better but now I am sure the worst is over. This has not been fun. My wife was scared I was going to die (she is still in the Maldives) and my daughter was making plans to come up to take care of my affairs because she said I looked like things were going downhill fast.
I will take the vaccine now because my body wasn't made for this abuse.

From the same thought process that brought you 1,000 total cases before Covid goes away...

Mensa candidates are still pretty sure this is just like the flu. How about the crew that thought this would go away Nov 4th?

People here in GA acting like idiots as are hospitals are having to ration care and open up temp covid centers.

Not hard to move forward with life while not being an idiot.

Still doing this BS? Every day 8,000 people or so die in the US. So literally every day for the last 20+ years is higher than that crap you are trying to peddle. But hey, the Coronabros eat it up so good luck with that...

Oh, I'm ignorant? Ok. Lets do some math. Lets for giggles say 3,000,000 people will die in the US this year(rough estimate). Lets divide by 365. We get 8,219 deaths per day. Sorry that my ignorance is right and you are peddling fear. But hey, the lemmings love it so keep it up.

Why try to break it down when the US set it up to label everything Covid. It's stupid. Is covid real? Absolutely. Did covid kill people? Yes. Did it kill anywhere close to the numbers reported? Nope. So why would I break down something that is wrong from the start? I'll save that for you and the lemmings who believe that all these deaths are from Covid. Same people who thought schools should be closed. Lemmings gotta lemming...

This link breaks things down from the CDC, using 2018 numbers. If COVID were on this list, it would be 3rd, behind cancer and heart disease. And COVID would be climbing, as current daily totals for COVID deaths are outpacing all other causes.

One thing else you notice is the lack of communicable diseases on the list. The flu is the only one listed, and it's 9th. To put it another way, you could be in a room full of cancer and heart patients, and have zero risk of catching their disease. But a room full of COVID-19 patients, different story.

This has been repeated a hundred times and is common sense anyway but seems to be lost on people. It's not complicated.

Well, when Covid is counted one way and the flu counted another way it makes sense why there are so many "covid deaths".

California hospitals face a 'war zone' of flu patients — and are setting up tents to treat them

"State officials collect flu death data only among people under 65; the actual death toll from the flu is much higher."

What would our death totals be if we didn't collect death data on anyone over the age of 65?

So how many deaths do you supposed are truly attributable to COVID? Half of whats reported? Two thirds of what's reported?

If we all agree to start using your numbers instead will you quit with this inane talking point of yours? Good god man. We get it. You think COVID numbers are inflated.
