I’ll accept that - but enough of trying to preach to those of us who aren’t sold on McClain

Cormani excelled as a SopH and Junior at Lake Gibson high school, as well as earned national recognition as one of te top CBs in the country. Transferred to Lakeland HS his senior year, and had a rather pedestrian season from a stat standpoint when compared to his previous 2 years. In fact I believe there were a number of clips of him getting beat deep, when up against some of the better talent at the WR position his senior year. It's possible by his senior year he had begun reading and believing all the press clippings that were being written about him, rather than putting in the hard to continue to getting better at his position? The whole commitment theatrics would certainly point to a young man, being still very immature as well perhaps surrounded by folks that weren't provided the best counsel.

Has life's experiences of the last 2 years, matured him and giving a bit of wisdom on what it takes to be successful in football at this level? That's Billy's job to delve into and make the final determination......The rumors I'm hearing and reading with a PWO and NIL deal, to me make this worth the risk with way more upside than risk bottom line!

If he can please Napier and Harris then he's on a good track.

I hope he learned by being around Dion that hard work combined with talent is the way , not acting like a bafoon.

I can’t stand Dion but he didn’t become an all time great by screwing off on the field. He may be a clown but I’m sure he worked his ass off on the field. The antics are for self glorification and have no bearing between the lines.

Deion is not a practice what you preach kind of guy. I think Mike Vick said it best - he didn't watch film or learn defenses early on. He did everything on God given talent.
Deion was the same way. I would bet Deion did very little in college and early on in the pros because he didn't have to. They just put him out there and let him cover the best WR on the other team.

I dunno. He may be the best pure cover ever. I don’t think that’s possible with extreme dedication. Douchenozzle but damn he was good. I despise that guy.

I'd take Darrell Green over him.

    • A tackling machine he was not, senior year had only 15 total tackles (9 which were unassisted) for the entire year. Some contest he didn't even record a tackle his senior year. What made him his name were his Soph and Junior years (where he piled up numbers with INTs), he just happen to transfer to a state title team his senior year to keep him in the limelight........ almost by default. I look at him as a potential Deion Sanders or Tyrone Williams (I nicked named Tyronne in hs -All non-contact Tyrone-), both had out of this world recovery speed and excelled at coverage, but both also avoided contact like the plague. Yet both were outstanding pros and were Super Bowl champs........
Is Cormani such a talent as well?.....I'm not convinced he is, but under the terms I've heard mention its worth a shot to see.
