Don't get me wrong... neither's behavior was appropriate for the house.

I have seen Senators and Congressmen from both sides criticizing this exchange from both sides. It was Fetterman and Issa.

It’s thought provoking to step back and realize this is the “oversight” committee.

I believe one of McCarthy’s concessions to the freedom caucus in exchange for their support, was to guarantee some clowns on this exact committee. Hence: Boebert and MTG.

MTG is a moron but Crockett isn’t far behind. Her “blacks should be exempt from paying taxes” comment is an all-timer. Between having to choose between an idiot and an incumbent who doesn’t know what day it is for President to having to deal with embarrassments like MTG, Boebert, AOC, Oman and Crockett (just to name a few) in Congress, American politics is at its lowest level in history.

Not that familiar with her, even though she is from nearby district here in TX. The idea of no taxes as a form of reparations is a bad idea, but there’s a difference between bad ideas and just being dumb. She is a lawyer and had a law career before congress I think. MTGB6 (and Boebert) are just flat out dumb.

Exactly. Instead they got trolled, and proved that they would not be made to look foolish by MTG--they'd look like even bigger asses than her, of their own volition.

Well how would we know? The dems have never taken the high road.

The pubs have, and have lost repeatedly.

Hence gone are the days of Romney, W, and McCain, and now y'all get to tango w the MTG's, Trump's, and Noem's...

    :monkey:

PS--dems been knowing this for decades... pubs arriving late to the shit show, but let's not mistake whose game is being played here.

Looked more like the mark of zorro...

(Thank God! She's not Catholic! We already have our hands full enough, having to answer for buckets of shit like Pelosi and Biden, prancing around proclaiming themselves "Catholic").

Is there actually a “both sides just as bad” to MTG and Boebert? This seems like yet another false equivalency such that you can point the back to the dems. Which you already did, with your little “dems never took the high road” schpeil above.

Weird little bubble you’ve built for yourself there. Trump = dems fault. MTG and Boebert = dems fault. No, it couldn’t possibly be the insanity bubble of right wing media.

You're just pissed because your shank took a swing and then got the holy heck knocked out of her. Loser mentality....get upset with the winner of the fight not the person who started it.

There was actually more of this circus. MTG in a pathetic attempt to defend her body at 8:25 of the video. Curious though...Crockett never identified MTG as the person she was referring to. MTG and the outraged righties have assumed it was MTG. Which part did that...butch body, bleach blonde or bad built? If those descriptors led everyone to the inescapable conclusion it was MTG, I guess Crockett was correct.

Investigating whether the GOP was drunk:

Investigate whether drinking involved in chaotic House hearing, senior Democrat says

“You had a bunch of members who had skipped legislative votes yesterday in order to go to Donald Trump’s trial. There was drinking going on in the hearing room on the Republican side. I don’t even want to imagine how much drinking was taking place on the train or up in New York,” Raskin said.

“And these members came back out of control. And the chairman did not rein them in, and the institution pays the price,” he told reporters on the Capitol steps Friday morning.
