I enjoy helping you out @RealtyGator because I truly enjoy participating in this Panel. Makes the season so much more fun even if my ol'lady hates it lol. Guess I can't be too disappointed in my final standing, being the first loser and all, lost my lead in the other game and my comeback in this one fell short so bittersweet but I'll definitely be gunning to unseat @ApexNC next season. Much like UGA , he must not be able to 3peat.
Congrats Apex! Thank you Realty for doing this each year. This is the first year I didn't bust during the season.
With our Gators tough season this contest became a focal point for me. Including watching others bets. And I was constantly amazed at Apex’s bets. He often went against the board was usually proved right. He def could be a full time gambler.
Don't sell yourself short. You may not have won the Picks Panel this year, but from a real-world gambling perspective you did great, realizing an 84% return in a four month span. Not even 3rd-world dictatorships get that kind of ROI...
Oh I'm very proud of my 4th place finish! And my $840+ of pretend dollars. But mostly I'm grateful to you and the other Gators for running this contest. I'm far too emotionally invested in Gator football/sports so this kind of season was hard on me. It was so nice to have another outlet and get real enjoyment from games that weren't our games. So thanks again- truly.
I'll take solace in the fact that, at one point, I led the pack. For a week or two, at least. Looking forward to next year!!
