Congratulations DJ Lagway -- Freshman All-American!

Let's hope that this is one of the first, in many, many accolades!!!

 

Supreme quality of a young man we have leading our team. An excellent QB with high character. He reflects well on our university, coach, and team.

I endeavor to enjoy all of his time here on campus through ups and downs. It will likely be a rough road next year as it is for every first year SEC QB no matter how talented the player or the team around him.

Stay strong and stay true Gator Nation!

 

Exceeded expectations and has not come close to his full potential. That is great news for our program. And with TJ coming in next year, we have finally cemented the position back together again.

 

Lagway! What a joy it is to watch him, and even bigger joy to see him honored. Congratulations DJ!

 

Well deserved DJ, congrats!

 

How many Houdini acts did he perform getting away from a sure sack and then tossing the ball 40 yards down the field for a completion or touchdown, all while injured and with only half a season as the starter? INSANE!!!

Well deserved, Congratulations, Mr. Lagway.

 

Gonna be fun watching him and Sellars take over the SEC.

 

Sellers came out of nowhere, and he's fun to watch, too. He definitely has what it takes to become one of the top QB in the nation.

His performance in the Clemson game was ridiculous. He was the biggest reason why USC won that game.

 

I was 100% ok with Sellars getting 1st team All SEC. Dude's a problem.

 

Doug Johnson deserved an extra commendation for trying to bean Bobby Bowden in the head pre one Florida FSU game. He missed just after the echo of the whistle.

 

Still amazed by the play against FSU where the 300 lb defensive tackle had him wrapped up and he got out and threw a dime to dike.

 

That was an accident.

 

Yes. he's from nearby Florence so he may stay there but he's going to have a huge payday waiting. But if he has pieces around him in SC then they might make the playoffs in a couple of years. He's that good.

 

Just remember,, Doug to Quezzie. One of the greatest wins in Florida history. Never like Gator fans pissing on Doug. Ditto with Jesse Palmer or Chris Leak. Does a Gator QB have to win the Heisman to get love here?
