I won’t apologize to her for the basic premise that she was carrying out political vendetta as opposed to seeking true justice.
Most voters didn't bother to do even simple Google searches. They saw a guy on television "firing" people on the Apprentice and flying in his private 757 and assumed that he was some type of business genius. Interestingly, when Trump was managing Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts into bankruptcy he paid himself an estimated $40 to $80 million in total compensation more than enough to purchase the plane. It's hard to find a better illustration of Trump's incompetence than the graph below.
No, it's not. It really has nothing to do with that. It has to do with the fact that Trump has the unique ability to walk 1500 miles across a granite surface to find the rake to step on it. I'd hoped in vain that his time out from Twitter would have given him some time for reflection and a chance to retool his attitude and strategy but that just didn't happen. He's only got one mode. He's only got one priority. It's not about anyone or anything other than himself. You can be a terrible people person and great at your job. You can be a great people person and terrible at your job. You can not be a terrible people person and terrible at your job. Right now, Trump is both for anyone who is moderate to center right. I just can't give him the benefit of the doubt any more.
I happened to appreciate your thread and honesty and thats coming from someone that sits squarely on the progressive side. Besides, your "covers" are legendary and I'm a big fan of them!
Yes she had a vendetta. She saw what he was doing to your party and how everyone allowed it. You should have had a vendetta too
I didn’t see your rationale. Seems to come after he attacked Desantis…. have you said what the driver of your decision was?
She had an axe to grind, because Trump called her dad out on the Iraqi invasion and WMD. She let it go too far and was helping out Democrats way more than GOP. Hence her getting beat so badly in the primary.
Yes... it couldn't be a simple dedication to the Constitution and American people. Only Democrats should be concerned about sedition and the peaceful transition of power. You nailed it. I guess if trump is your idol, you expect others to be as thin skinned and petty as he is. That's some warped shit.
It is so interesting. So by attacking Trump, a person that most of the GOP is now claiming hurts the GOP, she was helping Democrats more than the GOP. Which is why you won't apologize to her. Because that is apparently wrong to do?
Yes, I know. Politicians who agree with your viewpoint are the salt of the Earth and politicians who disagree with your viewpoint are vermin. Such an incredible and highly original take.
That's an overreaching take. Her actions are in alignment with her spoken motivations. If you feel compelled to make up some suspect grievance-based motivation to fight your cognitive dissonance, go ahead with your insipidity. I wonder what minor slights Kinzinger endured from trump that forced him to sacrifice his standing as well. I'd like to note that your self-pleasuring take results in absolving trump's 1/6 actions as a cause for Chaney's participation in the committee. How convenient. In retrospect, given your fealty to trump, it's no surprise you cannot envision Chaney putting country first.
She could have voted with Trump 100% of the time but fail to give him credit once. At that point she would be a RINO and part of the swamp.
