Yeah, even if you fly its often better to fly into Newark and take the train vs LaGuardia

i'm coming from maryland so take amtrak up. But flying into Newark over Laguardia /JFK and taking the train would be a good option.

I also remember when the board was more intellectual and we debated policies versus taking the government and lobbyists rationale for proposing a law.

Nope, Uber and Lyft’s lobbiest won that too. Hasn’t been a cap since ‘23 on EVs. I guess EVs don’t cause congestion…

NYC lifts cap on for-hire cars — provided they’re electric

The “make believe” marginal, forgotten person is the FDNY (except they aren’t made up). Read the article for yourself about how it is going to make it financially unfeasible for firefighters to do their job because they often need to use a personal vehicle. PLENTY of other examples.

FDNY unions warn of delayed responses due to congestion toll

Are you serious? Rich people love this. Everyone I know in Manhattan would gladly pay $100 a day to eliminate traffic and make the city less congested. This toll destroys the EMTs / firefighters / nurses / etc.

Hedge Fund managers don’t give a shit about $9 a day.

I was really confused why you were siding with the wealthy corporate owners of the country, and see you are just confused and thought they didn’t want this legislation they lobbied heavily for.
