Conference title game odds

best part of that list is no miamuh and no ahia state

 

Failing to see -outside of direct revenue from the game itself - what the benefit of conference championship games is for the conferences.

 

There are a few teams that have to win that game to get in

 

It's just that you also risk losing one. Maybe it evens out ,but seems like more of a risk than advantage.

 

Committee is not supposed to penalize teams losing a conference champ game relative to teams that don't play. We'll see if that plays out, for example does SMU fall below any other idle teams if they lose to Clemson.

Also the bye is supposed to matter. The problem this year is the 3rd and 4th conf champs this year are going to be so weak I'd rather be seeded #5 than #1 or #2.

 

There are i think four that must win to get in. If not for tge auto one seed, they couldnt get in at all.

 

No bammer too. That's most satisfying to me.
