Rioux doesn't have the body type to fill out. I remember by PE teacher in HS saying that once my weight catches up with my height, look out, a beast. 50 years later and I'm still a rail.

I agree. He needs to get more comfortable with his body and his size, more mobility and agility

And, his passing is an enigma. He can go from throwing several unbelievable passes for scores and then throw 2-3 horrific, ill thought passes for turnovers. He has all of the physical tools, and then some; just need to hone his mental state and forego the impossible passes he is prone to try.
Many of his passes are too risky to consider and execute successfully.

His team was the #5 team in the country and full of P6 recruits, he would have started on almost any other team in America
At 7'7 and just turned 18 last month, he's surprisingly agile...but needs to get used to his body. Think of how awkward the average teenager feels after a growth spurt, then imagine being 7'7. I think the next 1-2 years will be huge for him to see whether he has a bright future.

Jeff, having seen quite a bit of Olivier’s playing time this season (on YouTube), I don’t believe that he would have started for very many of the top high school teams this season. He is not an effective on-ball defender right now. Also, he hardly plays for IMG. That being said, he has plenty of upside, but it could take him a few years. FYI, IMG, Montverde and Columbus are all in the Chipotle Nationals high school championship tournament which begins on April 4. All of the games will be on the ESPN channels. So, we can get to see Olivier, the Boozers and others on the telly.

He’s probably a foot taller than 90% of the starting centers in high school basketball. So, yes, he would start for almost all of those teams,
