    That would make sense.

Thanks for putting that together. Let's say that Rishwain gets the medical and we have only two. My hope is that we don't lose in excess of one more in the portal (none would be good). Then we are picking up either two or three in the portal. I'd say let Kublickas/Rishwain grow into the PG spot and pickup a PF/C + SF. Clayton/Aberdeen can platoon at PG as necessary.

    Depth chart could look like:
    C - transferA/Condon/Rioux (Handles when he's ready)
    PF - Condon/eye chart/Haugh
    SF - Richard/Haugh/transferB
    SG - Clayton/Aberdeen
    PG - Kublickas/Rishwain

There's a decent chance Rioux redshirts and if so, we need transferA to be able to play the 4/5 - another Condon-like baller, but older. IDK - maybe I'm crazy and we need transfer B to be a guard. I'm hopeful, though, that Kuby can become a Lithuanian sensation :).

If Aberdeen transfers, this is all moot and we need a guard.

My impression was than only Pullin & Samuel participated in Senior Day.

Rishwain would be a combo 2/3, so Aberdeen likely would start at the point backed up by Kublickas. I would expect Handlogten and Shimmy to be at the 5. Condon would play the 4, and Haugh would be a 4/3. Richard would be a 2/3. Rioux redshirts. Isaiah Brown would be a 2/3. That would leave 3 slots open, and, for all we know, everyone of those guys could be starters.

Well, despite his limitations, McDaniel scored 33 points against us with 8 Rebounds, 5 assists, 1 Steal and 1 Block. His height sure didn't stop him from doing that.

Agree with all of this, but do you think Rishwain could play the 3 in the SEC? I know he's 6'5" but would get blasted athletically even more so than at the point. Thanks for mentioning Brown, as I know nothing about his potential.

I think that he might be a good athlete. He has been a good rebounder and defender throughout his college career. This is probably moot anyway as Chris says that Rishwain is not coming back. Chris is an insider. I ain't.

This doesn't surprise me. Rishwain filled on open spot we had no one else for - so why not, but now we need that scholly.

Golden was definitely leaving the door open for Rishwain to return with his comments about the injury. But the equation changed with Handlogten going down. We need all available scholarships for the portal. Ofc, that equation could change again if Shimmy and/or Kublickas leave.

I remember him now. I’ll take the best PG/player available, even if slightly undersized. We played against many smaller guards this year that were very good. I’d only ask that he is a decent shooter and driver and a deadly FT shooter.
