Man, those are big shoes to fill. Zyon was so good. In a single year, I think he placed himself among the greatest PGs to ever play at flrodia.

Was thinking the same thing. He may wind up more of a footnote in Gator history as he was only here for a year but that one year was some of the best PG play we've ever had.

Better comparison would be with Pullin at Riverside, not here. That said, we don’t need—and likely won’t get—another Pullin. Very hopeful we get improvements across the board from our returnees, especially the ones who were first time contributors.

The only one on that list who I’ve heard any buzz about is the Belmont kid, but it’s super early.

How long did Jason Williams play here? Half a season? He’s still on most people’s list.

Let's watch Aberdeen mature and become a floor general... quicker, great passes, and more prone to score than Pullin even if assit/turnover dips.

Clayton will be clutch and often put the team on his back next year. A great luxury for whoever is at point. Not to mention playing point himself as needed and improved against the press.

Hmm... I see no explanation of how the PGs are rated in that list.
Certainly we'll reach out to the two from in-state--Bensley Joseph from Miami and Arturo Dean from FIU--plus Dug McDaniel from Michigan. With my limited knowledge, I'd take McDaniel over the other two. He's just a sophomore but has good numbers. Dean is also a soph but is weak at the free throw line and plays in a weak conference.
On the other hand, CTG may be looking for another big guard. Dug is just 5'-11".

After watching Aberdeen grow into his role over the last few weeks I'm encouraged about his chances. His ballhandling still needs work but he might get there. Has a good chance to become an elite perimeter defender, which we desperately need.

It's their transfer rating. 247 doesn't offer a basketball explanation, but it is probably similar to football. 247Sports Rating Explanation

I’d be really surprised if TG went after Dug for his height only, CTG likes guards with length and at only 5-11 Dug doesn’t fit that criteria.

Alternatively, maybe there are some point-forward or point-center (Am I coining a new term with point-center?) types out there that could be gotten. Not that I know of any. I don't know jack-squat!

Hasn’t entered yet but I’m watching Jonathan Mogbo from San Francisco as a point forward type. Great passer with high usage and originally from Florida

Looking at his stats, he'd be a good get for us. Averaged 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Pullin’s stats all drastically improved once he got here. Should be a pretty great selling point.

Wow. I don’t see any of the PGs we recruited from the portal before ZP on here.

How many scholarships are available? We've got ZP & Tyrese leaving. Was the Yale guy's spot left open? If yes, that's three and don't we have three incoming freshmen?
