Universities, hospitals, football programs, Boy Scouts, churches ...no telling how much more of this crap has been committed and covered up forever. How many kids, students, patients ... have had to endure this stuff? God, it's depressing.
The crimes of a few will necessitate more checks and balances required of all Doctors seeing patients to better protect Doctors and patients alike.
Blown away. I've never been involved in any organization that would cover up harassment much less assault. I had a creeper CEO who would be overly touchy with women openly in meetings and that company's HR head was on him constantly, but no one ever accused him of anything they had to cover up. He was eventually fired by the board. What in the world motivates the behavior to sweep this stuff under the rug?

This episode also reminds one of the utter corruption of the NYC State Attorney's Office under Cyrus Vance, which not only covered for a sexual predator at Columbia but also Harvey Weinstein, refusing to prosecute even when he was on tape, and Trump family fraud with Jared and Ivanka

The only thing worse than men who abuse women are pedophiles. Psychiatrists/psychologists will say both are incurable, and I will say they should be segregated from society. Such behavior is incomprehensible, and devastating for victims.
