College football silly season is upon us

Josh Pate on his Late Kick podcast had an interesting take on this. While not agreeing that Michigan is America’s Team, he said it was brilliant PR move because it’s turned focused away from what Harbaugh and his assistants did onto a discussion of is Michigan now an underdog who deserves support.

He also has the idea that no team can make a move for head coaches or assistants until Texas A&M does. There’s too much risk of investing in a potential coach and then having A&M come along and snatch them away with all their money. Interesting thought.
