Notre Dame's defense is legit. While their offense isn't explosive, their QB is experienced and steady and their O-line is very good. Georgia will be without Carson Beck and while they are a very good team, they're not like the elite Georgia teams of the last few years, IMO. While this could be my bias speaking, as I absolutely detest the Bulldogs, I think Notre Dame beats Georgia.
That's funny. All my life living up here, I've had to hear fans say that southern teams are soft, couldn't play in the cold, and that bowl games are unfair because they are in warm climates. I always scoffed at them because, up until this year, the season was done before it got really cold. I guess we'll find out if they were right or not.
Because the guys running Swamp Gas are slipping. LOL! We'll use yours for the SMU/Penn State game. Thanks!
Notre Dame is my pick to win it all this year, they’re actually legit this season, unlike in past years. That shocking Northern Illinois game not withstanding, they’ve been the best team in the country since then, IMO. Oregon is unbeaten but have had several close calls. JMHO, of course.
I think they have a great shot at getting to the championship game. The lower bracket is the easier of the two, imho. With Georgia having major QB issues it’s wide open now.
It's not that cold yet. Maybe overnight in mid January we'll see that, but here in Michigan we'll be in the 40s next week. And like I always tell people, it's not so much the temperature, it's the wind that gets you.
I've got the other two game threads almost ready and will post each before their games start. Waiting on the officials to update their information but the ONLY game that exists is the current one they're selling commercials for apparently. LOL!
Footbal shouldnt be played in freezing weather. Might as well give em iceskates and make em play in a hocky rink.
Yes, playing on a frozen ground is dumb. That's why most teams have a dome when they live in the north pole
