I dont think they earned it. At least Boise played Iregan and had a good showing of themselves. Indiana got embarrassed when they played a legit team and they were exposed for what they are.
Not impressed. Tgey had an easy schedule by big ten standards and ohio state killed them. Now, if they beat a top ten team in the playoffs, theyll prove me wrong.
They don't need to impress you. They impressed the people who matter, enough to merit an 11seed, which is right where they are in Sagarin. Why would you expect the 11th best team to beat a top 10?
Maybe, but both of those teams lost three games. Not gonna get in above an 11-0 team. It's not how sports works.
They weren't 11 and 0. That's why schedules matter. In my mind, Indiana does not deserve to be there because because everybody clearly knows they are not a top 10 team
What potential upset(s) do you see happening in the opening round games this weekend? I say none, going with the chalk. College Football Playoff: Ranking the potential upsets in the first round
So... that weather is going to be a HUGE home field advantage anytime a southern team has to go up north for a playoff game? That has to addressed and changed to neutral sites with more temperate weather. Or... go to indoor stadiums somewhere near these northern schools, so that those teams at least keep their travel low. They should still get an advantage. But in the snow games are ridiculous... and nowhere near being fair. Play those northern games in a stadium.
I would say Tennessee has the best chance at an "upset". Mabey that's a little SEC bias, but the SEC usually does well in the post-season, especially when it counts...
Love that some of these games might be in snow, that's what playoff football should be....death to all domes!
27 Degrees at KO at Notre Dame 25 Degrees at KO at Osu 26 Degrees at KO at noon at Psu Never really thought about the Northern Teams ALWAYS will have a weather homefield advantage in the playoffs.
No, they do not, and please stop saying that. I can not and refuse to root for that team at all costs. Any other SEC team but them for me because I hate them. They have not won a thing and act like they are Champs already and with that off my chest GO GATORS!
Agreed, Indiana played a weak schedule. They were exposed by the one playoff team they played and now the next one. The talent gap is just too big to overcome. Gators would probably beat them pretty badly.
