For me, that position would have been easier when there was relative parity among conferences. Now there are two super conferences and the others have all cobbled together G5 teams to stay viable . . . so we're letting teams that can beat G5 teams have SEC slots when almost every SEC team could do the same thing.
Bruh the code was "OSUFB" If you make your computer password "password" and someone gets on, its not hacking or cheating at that point. You had the digital equivalent of a zip tie for the door lock.
I don't blame the victim. So if you mistakenly leave your front door unlocked, being out of those zip ties, you deserve to have everything stolen from your home. I see. Hmmmmm. Nope, still not letting UcheaT off the hook.
It’s dirty, but I like it. I would love it if Gator fans did this to someone, especially OSU, or Toothless for that matter. It’s not cheating, they just bought the tickets. They could have sent secure individual links or passcodes to their season ticket holders, instead they chose a super simple password for everyone to use and then their fans gave the code to Tennessee fans. I’ve bought tickets directly from our away game ticket offices. It’s always funny when they call the following year trying to get me to donate or buy season tickets.
Yes, everything stolen. With the thief stealing something you were trying to sell anyway and leaving you full asking price when they take it.
Not all conferences are created equal. There should be NO brackets until all the games have been played, IMHO... and winning a conference should NOT guarantee a bye week.
I think the Big-12 has a way to go... not sure 12 teams was a good idea, but I am willing to wait and see how the games unfold first.
I'm pulling for upsets and underdogs all the way. Would love to see Indiana knock off Notre Dame and Boise State win it all. Chances of that happening are next to zero, I know, but when the Gators aren't involved I almost always pull for the underdogs. Hardly ever root for the SEC. I'm probably in the minority, but I'm used to that.
Winning the big 12 or the ACC does not equate to the same reward as winning the SEC or the big 10. Think it deserves a seed in the playoffs but only where they are ranked.
Yeah, it does. I like the fact that they made the playoffs, and think they deserve to be there, but they should have to play Oregon for their first game (assuming no byes).
I agree that schedules matter. There's no case, though, for excluding an 11-1 team that a) went 8-1 in a P6 conference and b) boat raced (to use your phrase) the majority of the conference teams they played.
