I bet La Tech is getting worried they will have to replace a few more assistants and a special teams game changer.
It is alot easier for Dabo to recruit assistants then it is for BN...looking at our schedule and with attrition we may not get 4 wins next year and if I were coming Id be damn unsure of how long Id be stayin.
Get in reality, we watched enough to know our offense is not very exciting until you release the ball in an aggressive manner, think Freeze at Auburn who inherited a mess also but is showing he is willing to go downfield and score to the end of a game. Less time to do it and almost took down Alabama. Also ended up with more wins than losses. Billy is a great organizer and recruiter, but he needs to give the offense to someone who can have an exciting offense and use momentum when it shows up. Missouri and FSU games come to mind, but there were times other than this that were mind bending bad at times. Let’s get the fun in offense back and right the defense with a talent infusion and an aggressive hard hitting defense. If Billy could step back and hide his ego and organize us to helping get the right coaches in place, his plate would be full enough.
So Stein was the chosen one for OC earlier in the season and expected to come and it didn't pan out is what I'm reading?
From what I've read/heard it was in the works somewhat early to mid-season. Again, just info from many different forums, but we know how that stuff goes.

How are these coaches being hired away from other schools when they are already under contract and or playing in bowls? I was told this was not possible. and in all likelihood we have to wait until after every college has finished playing before we can start interviews. (please note the heavy sarcasm)
