Well, he's done better than Bear Bryant at this point. All I have it history and they've historically been . . . . LIKE DUKE!!!! IDK, why haven't they won the ACC since SOS? Just a long line of bad coaches? Don't waste my time. The answer will be as contrived and as dumb as this dumb argument. Yeah, winningest in their history, but hasn't won the SEC (over Alabama, Georgia, etc.) because he's a bad coach. My "panties" are in a wad over dumb fans and I've already explained myself on that multiple times. If you want the answer, reread the thread. Otherwise, kiss my . . .
As good as Raymond's history was back in the day at LSU- with pretty decent talent here at Fla, he was below average. We lost at least three games this year we could have won because of piss-poor pass coverage. Seemingly a decent human being. But we're at a serious juncture here. Napier needs to hire the best! Period. Not some guy he coached with he likes. Simply the best (unless the guy's an asshat) We ain't got the time for any experimentation at this juncture. More will be revealed, soon. Go Gators.
Unfortunately, I'm not smart enough to know the answer to that question personally. Let's assume it was a little of both. More-better coaching coming soon. One would hope... Go Gators.
Nope. I didn't want Kelley. He was never coming and even "clueless" me recognized that . Nice try though.
Indiana has their new guy. Now there’s an opening at James Madison. Indiana hires Curt Cignetti: James Madison coach takes over Hoosiers after successful run with Dukes
The carousel makes my head spin. I got to sit with the coaches wives years ago at a (not UF) game and I’m not sure they ever unpack their moving boxes. They have big money but jeez it’s a sacrifice by the family especially the kids.
Sheesh. I moved all over the country 4 years in a roll from 4th to 8th grade as a kid and my dad wasn’t even making millions coaching.
Would be a great hire for Houston. Houston targeting Willie Fritz as coach: Cougars eyeing Tulane boss to replace Dana Holgorsen, per report
Not sure the attraction for Fritz unless it's just $$$ which would make sense. I don't see Houston as a big step up. Joining the remodeled big 12 is a plus, so maybe.
I think Fritz's age is playing into this, if he were 15 years younger he's getting offers from all the top jobs.
