Typing as I listen…. Coach Hartman… We did really good jobs staying course after not so good start…this is resilient, veteran group and we know they will try to play right way. They share the ball .. we had 21 assists tonite against really good Pitt team. Walter is excellent.. one of most sought after guys in the portal, one of the best in the SEC… he is a gamer, really good player… an alpha dog. I’m the big man couch so really proud of Samuel tonite… as well as Alex and Haugh. We wanted to control the paint. We can dominate out of the high low and if we are effective there… we are really comfortable. And we have those 4 guys we can rotate. We hope Micah is ok to play… he is very reliable for us. We are hoping he is available Friday, but if not… next up mentality.
Get Micah's treatment going first thing in the AM. I'm guessing if it were a high ankle sprain (the bad kind, takes months to get over) they would know already.
Probably our best shot selection night since I do t even know when. Samuel was 9-11 from th field and his two misses were the three point attempts I think. Kugel had a couple of bad ones. But outside of that, everything was within the framework of the offense and guys were unselfish enough to play to that. That was why we won tonight. I’ve been waiting what feels like years to be able to say that.
I think you are spot on…..if it was a high sprain I imagine there would be no way he would be able to go Friday.
Agree. Also the interior passing between the big guys brings back some really good memories of you know who
