San Francisco is one of my favorite cities. New Orleans is also up there. I like good food and both are unique. No way could I ever afford to live there. I have a nephew that lives in the hills above Berkeley in a mid-century modern house. He has been through a number of successful start-ups and is LOADED. My wife has a cousin that has a double lot house in Woodside (in the hills above Palo Alto) that he is selling to retire to Italy. Tuscany IIRC. When visiting him we went on a neighborhood bike ride past Larry Ellison's (Oracle) house and Bill Gates' home away from home. He is also flush with cash from start-ups.
I'm not sure what you are asking. I just don't like the guy on the podcast. I liked it better when Zach A. was running it.
I'm just ready to watch the board melt if he fouls before half to steal an extra possession and the guy actually hits both FTs.
you mean hits the first free throw, misses the 2nd, they get the offensive rebound and win the game or go up 1 with .2 left on the clock and the ball under our own basket. If a team your playing has good free throw shooters, I can't imagine the analytics say to foul.
agree. Though…Im guessing all the private jets they own/lease could be used for what would be covert trips…like to interview coaches or recruit players who want to be low key. Hard to be keep a plane out of the spotlight when it pulled in with a big gator head painted the length of the plane.
True, good point. But these fans that can track the plane and where it's going would be able to know where it is even if it was stealth.
I think it has its place if the everything lines up. The way I imagined it going was, UF is up 2 with less than 30 seconds to play, the other team has the ball, they pass to someone that's 50-60% shooting FTs. Someone like Illinois big man this year, instead of letting him back your guy down and tying the game with a higher percentage shot you immediately foul on the entry pass and put a 50% shooter on the line. Odds are in your favor of possessing the ball up 1 with the shot clock off, or tied with the chance at the last shot. It really just sounds more like a coach that's more confident in his offense than he is in his defense.
Xavier up 2. vandy ball, 7.1 left Xavier is in the bonus. No discussion of fouling ha. Xavier ended up fouling. Not intentionally with 4.8 left. vandy missed the front end of the 1 and 1 Now Xavier is up 3, 4.8 left. Do you foul… fouled pippen with 1.8 left Pippen makes the first, misses the 2nd on purpose but never hit the rim. Xavier ball.
This hire is just one big question mark. Young, little relevant data. Being pessimistic is silly. The logical path is “we will see.” As a fan, I’m optimistic. As for San Francisco, beautiful hills, the ocean, Napa next door, pro sports, world best universities, amazing food, and the greatest tech ecosystem in the world right there. Yeah, it’ll do.
We did it last season, Gators up 2 with just a few seconds left and we foul Scottie Pippen Jr. with like 3 seconds left on the clock. He misses the front end of the 1 & 1, Castleton gets the rebound and Gators win. see it works.
Golden will be out at the Gator baseball/softball games today. This is a great chance to meet/support him & our other sports teams.
CTG will also be on the SEC Network+ in the 2nd inning of the Gators softball game. Edit: CTG will be on air for both games.
He was on the baseball game tonight on SEC network. Did the interview with Patrick Young and others. He is getting the word out for sure.
