Time to take his mic away. Just said Cincy is “lousy “ and doesn’t belong in playoff conversation. Asked who he would put above them he said Notre Dame. Had to be reminded Cincy beat ND at ND. I don’t think Cincy is top 4, but I sure as heck wouldn’t double down with Notre Dame. Time to join Verne Lundquist Lee.
A few years ago, even before the stroke, they surprised Corso with some old Navy footage he hadn’t seen before. It was a great moment. Clearly no longer has his fast ball, but he will be greatly missed when he’s no longer on Gameday
I met Lee in Orlando. He was dating a very hot younger woman back before his stroke. I was too. We were all at the old Gargi's restaurant. He was also a patient for a time. Very, very likable man and he worked his ass off to get better.
I don’t care if he struggles some, if he wants to still do it let him. I can tell what he means and he’s Corso.
I am not a fan of Herbstreit… BUT watching game day it is clear that he protects and helps Coach Corso. He is kind and gentle and protective… and for that I love him. He clearly cares a lot for LC.
